Does not hold the map. After several trials I still could not vacuum the whole house without the robot throw an error and giving it lots of assistance. Does not connect with the robot reliably. I was expecting it would use the cameras to map the place and looks like it is only using for wall avoidance. I wish it was open sourced and the comms are well documented so people could try to improve it.

This required a decent amount of effort to finally get installed. I'm not sure what got it to work, but power cycling the vacuum, factory reset, removing the Scout RXWiFi profile, reinstalling the app, shouting at the ceiling, were all required. The app itself isn't terrible. I have yet to work with it much. - No Google Home integration (-1 star at least). - Ein bisschen besser.

Essentially unusable. Has never loaded a map, flaky about connecting, I can't log into my Miele account, and the timer I set on the app keeps changing the time and mode without my requesting the changes. But the camera works, when the vacuum connects. I contacted Miele and they said, "the RX2 does not app accept Motorola Android because the phone does not permit automatic switchover to the correct programming." Not sure why there would be an Android app if the RX2 doesn't accept it.

Garbage app, connection to robot vac works only once Setting up without miele account works as described. Then app never finds vac again even though both are in same wifi and onlune and connected to same router and both 80cm away fro. Each other and router. SOLUTION? Reset evening Ann's setup again so it works exactly once again. What a useless garbage. And yes, I chnged my electricity provider, internet supplied and the whole of the electricity grid and internet wre changed as well. No change

Horrendous. The app never worked I the first version, and now I've had to reset the unit, and it cannot reconnect at all. Nowhere nears getting any maps, and now can't even program times in. Useless. Shame as vacuum itself is really good, but relies on the terrible app to make it do more than a basic on or off. Please fix this.

This is the worst application and overall experience ever. It takes ages to connect to the vacuum cleaner if it succeeds at all. It is literally impossible to update (even though there is an available update) the device. For a product that expensive i would say this is just UNACCEPTABLE. I would never buy anything else from Miele, ever!!!!

Impossible to pair the vacuum with the app installed on my S8+. The vacuum is connected to my 2.4Ghz wireless network but the application fails to finalize the pairing. Some steps are missing from the pairing guide, for example the one for connecting to the vacuum's network with the serial number as password in order to send the wifi configs to the vacuum. Also some close buttons are not working (they are pressed but they do nothing).

This app is so flaky. You save the map, and it disappears every now and then. Do you *have to* save the map? Does it relearn everything from scratch every time? Who knows. There's no help. It's a good vacuum cleaner, but let down badly by the software. For a premium product, the app should be much better.
