Excellent app! Does exactly what it's intended to do, and makes an excellent backup when the WWVB signal is too weak or compromised. While it may not be 100% to the precise second (it uses your phone clock which may be off by a few milliseconds) according to NIST or USNO atomic time systems, it still does the job VERY well. The key is to have the phone volume all the way up and hold the phone's speaker as close as possible to the antenna system of the time piece you wish to sync. Works well!!!

Works great on a Galaxy S24+ with Casio GW-9400. I lay the phone flat and place the watch face-down with half of it resting on the bottom of the phone next to the speaker and the other half on the table. Seems to be about 1/2 a second slow compared to my GPS time server but that's close enough!

This app actually synced my radio controlled clock, that's amazing! Now i can keep my clock synced when WWVB is too weak or off the air or if I'm at the other side of the world. But i do have one request, however... can you please make the DST (Daylight Savings Time) automatic? The actual WWVB signal does the DST automatically. It's inconvenient when this setting needs to be manually set.

It's great when an application works! In NJ the signal is poor. I thought I would try this before manually setting DST. It went for about 8-9 minutes and I was starting to lose hope when GET appeared on my Casio, the hands spun and it was all good. I just used the time already in the phone which matches Alexa and she's "always" right. Thanks

Really works! I didn't know something like this exited but stumbled on it. Very happy that it does. Sync'ed time from Pixel 3 XL to Casio PAW-1200 v1. Placed watch next to top front speaker with sound at max, sucessful after about 3 minutes. Also verified the radio time sync still works on my watch since it hasn't synced for a few years. Was never consistant even when watch was new. Had to strap my watch to a lawn chair in the back yard for it to sync.

Finally got one that works. I have a One Plus 7 Pro and a Casio Oceanus s100. After starting this app up, I lay the watch at a 45 deg facing the bottom speaker, with volume Max. That way I can still see if it's syncing manually. Laying it so the back of the watch faces the speaker seems to work at first, but never makes a successful sync. Takes a minute or two this way and has worked every time since I started facing the front of the watch towards the speaker. Perfect alternative to over air sig

My citizen watch hardly ever gets a signal any more. Found this app and I'm amazed it's generating a 60kHz signal from an audio circuit. I'm guessing it's a harmonic. It works fine using my Pixel phone but it does use system time rather than GPS or nntp so it's off a couple of seconds. I don't really fault the developers for that as it would complicate the free app.

This app does indeed update and synchronize an atomic enabled timepiece. However, with access to a computer, I find it faster to do a manual time set to time.is or the NIST website. The app is about 1/2 second ahead of these net based sources. For someone in a poor reception location and no computer access, this app fill a void nicely.
