William Belgard

Deceptively simple yet fun swarm/tower defense game. A lot harder than it looks, small amount of microtransactions. Energy system almost ruins it though. Remove it or figure out a better feature and I'm inclined to give this indie title a 5 star rating. Edit : Today had a massive rework of the skill system, seems like game is getting frequent updates. The revamp of the roguelite skills has made it much more fun, but I still seem to always go for damage and HP!

Fun idea. Game is too grindy at the beginning. It'll take you either a week straight of playing or Hundreds of dollars just to progress past the Prologue Chapter Zone. Thats literally the 5th level. To remove ads costs 9$. It takes ad watching just to reroll anything. It sucks when you have to select negative stat troops and waste 5 minutes trying to make them work. Enemy HP needs to be lowered by near 50% just to make the game enjoyable and progressable.

Superb iteration of a tower defence game. Seems simple enough but heaps of strategy involved when choosing squad mods and the right team members for missions. Currently maxed out all units (lvl 18) and growing units skills so I can beat final stage of Area 3 (which is hard as nails). Hopefully the game has success and gets the updates and support to maintain interest. One update being more options for workshop as I maxed it eons ago!
