L'app Kestrel LiNK® Ballistics ti dà la possibilità di gestire le caratteristiche e le funzioni principali del tuo dispositivo Kestrel Ballistics connesso per massimizzare la praticità e migliorare le tue prestazioni di tiro.Crea, carica, scarica e archivia rapidamente e facilmente i profili delle pistole e accedi alle librerie Applied Ballistics e Hornady di parametri e profili di proiettili testati in laboratorio per l'uso nel tuo misuratore di balistica Kestrel utilizzando Gun Profile Manager (1). Posiziona il tuo Kestrel nel supporto a palette su un treppiede (venduto separatamente) per visualizzare le soluzioni in remoto dalla posizione di tiro sul dispositivo mobile utilizzando la modalità bersaglio singolo. This app is a giant steaming dog turd. This app is more infuriating than the IRS website, and I'm a software engineer. Why are all targets in a new target card default set to a 2mph target speed? Why does the text in on-screen buttons bleed over? Did Helen Keller write this on a broken braille keyboard? For an $800 unit, this app makes me want to go back to my WeatherFlow and BallisticArc. Mind you, Vortex has screwed that up so badly I paid $800 to be let down by this.

Update: Changed rating from 3 to 5 stars. I contacted technical support after posting my original review and they were able to find the source of the bug, updated the app, and now it works fine! Original review: The app is good for setting up the gun profile and transferring it to the device, but the compass calibration and MV calibration options do not work. Any time I select either of these, the app crashes. I haven't been able to find a way to correct this.

Thus far the ballistic predictions are pretty close, but not dead on for my 22lr shots out past 100yds. You only seem to be able to access the MV Temp data table from the App, not the unit. You can only access the DSF table from the unit, not the App. Thus you have to save and transfer gun/bullet data in the propper order to get it to save the data and update these factors properly. Both need to be accessible from App and Unit.

Excellent Tool for the Job.... I'm still in the learning process but so far great results right on site at the range. I would love it if you could add the Berger F class to the bullet collection soon also. Thanks for making such a great product. I look forward to becoming a kestrel guru in the near future.

Won't connect to my 5500 where only weather link application connect no issues there tried uninstalling and reinstalling nothing seems to be working. I can see that in my Bluetooth device list but just can't connect to it through application.

after i link the 5700 elite to my phone to do the firmware update it keeps telling me i need internet.... even when connected to wifi. have tried multipul time with the same result. now the 5700 and phone drop connection and then reconnects ove and over again.

Honestly, I own the kestrel and wanted to use the app on both phones. But you can't load ANY DATA unless you first connect to your damn device.. You guys don't think things through do you? First I couldn't load any data if I didn't have internet now this? I get the ballistics wont work without the device because the device does the math but I seriously can't load the data if I don't have the thing on me?

The problem was on my side, the app. works great 👍👌. It seems I need to be retrained in the spring.. called tech help had me Bach on track in no time. Very sorry for the bad review this Kesteral is a must have for long range shooters.
