Miqlat è una società senza scopo di lucro 501 (c) (3) che cerca di essere un rifugio per i cristiani in cerca di contenuti biblici seri e credenti affini impegnati ad essere la chiesa. È un termine ebraico che significa "paradiso". Miqlat cerca di far parte di una soluzione a problemi specifici nell'esperienza cristiana moderna, come la scarsità di contenuto biblico-teologico accademico ma accessibile in chiesa e creazione di congregazioni di spettatori condizionati a pensare alla chiesa come un tempo, un luogo, e il gatekeeper per il culto e il ministero. Miqlat ha quindi due obiettivi fondamentali:

(1) per produrre contenuti seri per comprendere la Bibbia nel suo antico contesto che è deciferabile, comprensibile e utile per il non scholar;
(2) Cristiani affini in rete che condividono il desiderio di gravi contenuti biblici ai fini della compagnia, dell'incoraggiamento e del ministero.
