Storm Shield fornisce avvisi basati su tempeste per tornado, uragani, alluvioni, temporali, tempeste invernali e altri eventi meteorologici potenzialmente letali tramite notifica vocale e push.Gli avvisi basati sulla tempesta aiutano a ridurre i falsi allarmi avvisandoti del maltempo in base alla tua posizione esatta all'interno di una contea. This was (past tense)a great app. Then suddenly this fall it stopped working altogether, (likely with their September 26th 2024 update.) Eventually, I updated it and it still doesn't work. The map is there, but no radar or clouds or anything overlapping despite a huge storm going on today. Too bad, it had worked great prior. Nothing I have done will get me any layers, like radar. Bummer. And I had to delete a couple apps to get this sad update.

A necessity for otr truck drivers and anyone who wants to be aware of emergency situations in their area. I normally NEVER recommend giving apps access to a gps tracker for your whereabouts... except for this one. It's saved me from a lot of potential weather danger in my truck and it let's me know what's going on near my home location, as well as keeping an ear out for any issues where my kids live. Highly recommend.

I have had this app for several years and it has always worked well. Recently, when I get a push notification that there's a weather alert, I open the app to read more about it and it isn't there. I know there is a Tornado Watch (or whatever) because I've seen it on my local news. Why can't I see it in the app?

I would give it 5 stars but I've been using this for a year and then it says my i have to buy another subscription but I already have one I canceled it and will Unistall it until this gets fixed

Uninstalling. Alerts are excessive and inaccurate. Wish there was a setting to disable further same alerts for the same event by acknowledging I saw the first one. Instead I'm getting severe t-storm warning alerts at least as close at 20 minutes apart with no change in the data except MAYBE an extenuation, and continue getting alerts after the eye of the cell has passed over us and moved on. Flood alerts 10 times a day for nearly the past week, when there wasn't even any rain the first 3 days.

This app is fantastic, when it works. I got a new phone, and when I tried to set my alerts and locations, all I keep getting is we can't find your location, and when I try to enter it manually I get the same message. I am more than willing to pay the subscription, but not it it doesn't work. I cannot find a way to contact anyone about this and I find it extremely frustrating as I see this app as crucial when it comes to weather alerts. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall several times with the very same results. I also have a NOAA weather radio, and most times I get the alert from Storm Shield before the radio goes off. Update: I was able to contact support and fix the issue!

Got a new phone. Have paid to download the app twice, on my previous 2 phone's. I also pay a monthly subscription. Can't get app to work at all. Won't use location, no matter how I enter it, current location, zip, city &state.... CAN'T GET PAST THIS SCREEN TO GET CUSTOMER SERVICE, HELP OR OTHERWISE! About 4-5 years ago this app was awesome. Continues to go downhill, every new phone I get and every update they do.

I paid for this app years ago. Bought a new phone with more storage and am able to re-download all my apps I had to uninstall due to insufficient storage space. Now, I have to pay a monthly fee just to have access to the same features I already paid for many years ago. Can't even access the lightning feature. That's absolutely ridiculous. This used to be a great app. I refuse to pay again (& monthly at that) for something I already did years ago. Lost a subscriber now. So disappointing!
