Super bad interface. Doesn't remember what you have listened to -really frustrating when listening to a series, as you have to find every episode manually 😡 (I think a previous version had "carry on where you left"?). Can't even see the title of what is playing, just the category e.g. "Radio play"???? Why? Can't save anything without having to create an online account 😠 (No, I do NOT want to create an online account just to do basic listening!!). Just asking for BASIC listening features!

Overall a decent app for its purpose however on my android based phone I consistently run into two distinct issues with app. Firstly when closing the app it mostly stops playing the music / radio as intented, however at times it will randomly start playing again after sometime requiring a full shutdown of the app. Secondly when pausing a radio station for an extended period, the app will when resumed display an error instead of jumping to the live section is slightly annoying. Looks very useful! Also unique messaging functions etc A lot of good thought gone into it. The flip side, you have to agree to them using your personal data as they wish or else you can't use the app – a bit odd, normally you can change that in settings. /// Maybe it's an EU loophole for apps: On opening the app, they say if you don't like the personal data use "then listen via the website" – and listening via the website doesn't work, despite having the latest Android system installed.

Updated my review below. Now rating four stars instead of two. The app now works again. Thank you. I have previously used the app and been happy about it but after the latest update the app pause frequently with random time interval and length when the screen is not active and sometimes just stop the live program or podcast. I have a samsung S8. Hope this can be fixed in a new update.

An English translation would be highly appreciated, as I'm firmly of the opinion that P2 is the best classical music radio station there is. The radio widgets work well, allowing you to switch the radio on and off without launching the app. But the app is fabulous - informative, beautiful and easy to use. Obviously the content is Danish, but an English translation for the menus, buttons and settings would be a valuable and easy addition.

The app has a really annoying feature: it stays open in the background, even though I close it. This drains battery and the app stays 'active' on the lock screen. Response to reply: I am always 'closing' the app as suggested in the response from DR, but the app stays active on the lock screen more than 50% of the time and keeps draining the battery.

Deleted the app today and I am not going to reinstall it. Suddenly this morning bluetooth stopped working on my CAT S52 and continuously showed pop-up regarding this. After spending some hours with CAT support it appears that the DR-lyd app caused it. When app was deleted bluetooth was working again. I wonder how you manage to put this software together to get such an error?

It is not unheard of that the just lose connection. When it does you cannot start the radio again from a headset. This is also true if you accidentally pause for the radio.
