Favorite part of the app is the mate challenge. It's probably the most convenient free way to improve at tsumeshogi. Even though the problems aren't as high quality as the ones in books, you'll learn all the most common patterns at the very least. After reaching mate challenge rating 2100 or so, it might be better to start using books as well.

Mainly playing mate problems. Also the only app that supports tsuitate variant, which I believe worth trying if you haven't already, I know. The biggest problem is that its incredibly annoying ads. You have to watch two 30-second ads plus some to solve 50 puzzles a day. There isn't even an option to purchase an ad-free and/or unlimited puzzles premium. Also you can't see a solution after you failed, making it much harder to learn from your mistakes.

In this application, many cons. You cannot choose your opponent. If in the settings you choose "game with a bot", then the bots are rarely selected. The application does not allow making an illegial move, but notifies in advance that it is impossible to walk like this. And the most annoying thing is that if you have loss of face, it is impossible to delete your account.

I enjoy the mate challenges, but I don't like the ads. I wish there were a way to pay for a paid version of the app instead of having to watch them.

Would be great if "try rule" wasn't implemented... Who thought it's a good idea to have it? Yes, it's easier to code than a complete impasse scenario but it's worth it.

Plays alright, but English translation is inconsistent and you can't change it to Japanese for some reason.

Nice... just that games are limited to 10 mins. Would want a longer games option if possible.
