Le funzionalità dell'app includono:
1) Un computer di volo.
Indica l'altitudine AMSL e AGL, la velocità al suolo, il rilevamento, il tasso di salita/discesa, l'angolo di planata, la forza G, la direzione del vento, la durata del volo e la distanza dal decollo.
La pressione barometrica può essere ottenuta da un sensore interno o tramite un variometro Bluetooth.
2) Un elenco di piloti.
Mostra il tipo di aereo (o foto), la direzione relativa, il tipo di localizzatore e i messaggi di stato. Se vengono utilizzate le funzionalità di contatto integrate, è richiesta l'autorizzazione ai contatti.
3) Una mappa di Google.
Visualizzazione di altri piloti, recupero di autobus, spazio aereo, waypoint, punti caldi termici, tracce di volo oltre a messaggi di sicurezza e di recupero.
4) Uno strumento di navigazione per gestire waypoint e attività.
5) Un widget dell'assistente termico sulla mappa.
6) Radar pioggia e widget copertura nuvolosa.
7) Compiti di gara di competizione.
Le attività sono completamente compatibili con il servizio PG-Race.aero. È richiesta l'autorizzazione della fotocamera durante la scansione dei codici QR, per una facile condivisione delle attività con altre app.
È possibile impostare avvisi acustici per i messaggi "SOS" e "Recupera", prossimità dello spazio aereo e messaggi FANET.
I voli vengono registrati come file IGC e KML e possono essere riprodotti.
I registri di volo IGC realizzati da XC Guide sono accettati da FAI/CIVL per gli eventi Cat1 e sono verificati dal loro servizio di convalida online. Sono accettati anche da XContest.

FlyMaster now supports alternate tracker sources such as FLARM, InReach and SPOT. These technologies are now correctly reported in the Pilot List, tracker status and map bubble.

Love this app. Definitely my go to and recommend fight computer app. The maps are great and the thermal assistant helps center the thermals just that little bit more. The live tracking features are great I can stream my flight to skylines and xc contest. After reading the manual a couple times. The app was really easy to figure out. I just with there was more of a community around this app.

This is a fantastically complete app that does everything you can imagine and more. The ability of XC guide to connect with a large number of external devices and sensors is amazing. For example, you can connect it to an inexpensive home-built FANET+ antenna to see and be seen by other local pilots using FLARM or FANET, and see and be seen by additional pilots/aircrafts from a wide range of tracking networks through your internet. This is just one of the many amazing features.

A great app, especially when we use it professionally for guiding groups. We have a tablet for the driver in the van. As well as visually tracking the pilots around the skies we have them on view from our flight decks aswell.
