brutal..watching buses drive by only to wait over an hour for it to glitch and cancel my ride..app needs a complete overhaul.

Completely unreliable! The GPS is wildly inaccurate, never showing the correct pick-up or drop-off locations! I’ve had rides canceled multiple times, leaving me stranded for over an hour. The app constantly refreshes when the bus is near, making it impossible to catch a ride. This app is a total disaster—don’t waste your time. Walk, take a cab, anything is better than this!

Do not use! Walk or cab it! It is not worth taking. I have refused drop off twice now for safety. The app its self is very confusing. When using gps, it is not accurate. The map is hard to use. I would rather type in the bus stop location and type the bus stop desination. A lot of bugs and need a lot of improvements to the app. Maximium distance to ride via on demand 400 Meters! The app instantly resets number of passengers even if you don't leave the app.

App never shows the exact location of bus stop. Neither does it drop off at the correct destination. Countless times because of this app, I had to wait more than an hour to request a bus. App kept refreshing when the time left for the bus to reach pick-up location was less than 1 - 2 minutes. I Do not recommend this app!

This bus service is no good. I have used it every Sun since it started and have not had a good experience yet. I use it bc I need to get to work and I have to book it by 8:45 at the latest just to get there by 10 and most of the time I end up late. The 400m rule for pickup or dropoff is ridiculous bc I end up nowhere near my house to be picked up and nowhere near the job to be dropped off. A few times I ended up on top of the hill for my drop off only to end up riding all the way to westend 1st

NOT GOOD. tried to book a bus at 10:30 and it kept saying that it was busy and to try again later. after 45 minutes of trying every minute or so 11:15 hit and at that point we were no longer able to book one at all. definitely unprofessional. if ur gonna have the buses on demand at least make them demandable. if it wasn't for my father my friend and i would've been forced to walk over a hour thanks to ur faulty app :) please do better bus :(

Sucks big ones. 715pm I put in for a ride, bus gets as close as 5 blocks away, instead of driving five blocks to pick me up when initial pick up said 10 mins the bus decided to go in opposite direction to the opposite side of town, then back west for my pick up. 1.5 hour wait. I called for a ride and still made it to my destination before the bus even was at my pick up. At least I was able to cancel it when it was one block away. Money well spent again by our city.

TL;DR: Buy a car, get a cab, or walk. So for a bit of background information, my usual bus ride from the terminal takes about 15 minutes on Sault College, bringing me up to the corner of Northern and Pine. Tonight was my first time using the service, and it seriously left something to be desired. At 7:15, when the service started, there were 5 buses at the terminal ready to go, and a few passengers and myself were put on one of them. With 5 different buses, I thought that we were all sorted based on general area of destination, and the app showed a 30 minute bus ride, which was already a bit longer than I was expecting. Somehow, the system decided that the best route for our passengers was to go all the way to the west end, all the way to the east end, then finally all the way up to my stop, by Sault College. The timing of the route went as follows: 45 minutes doing laps in the west end, followed by a detour lap around the terminal, followed by a 20 minute trip out and around the east end, and finally a 10 minute route to "my stop". My stop turned out to be about 4 "bus stop" signs away from my normal sign, and I walked the rest of the way. The bus then drove all the way up past my usual stop and kept going. So when all was said and done, what would normally have been a 15 minute bus ride and a 5 minute walk turned into an hour and 15 minute lap of the city and a 20 minute walk. Sault On Demand is a service that is designed to save the city money, and in doing so is driving more and more people away from the transit system and towards taking a cab. The app does what it says it does, but the service behind the app needs a lot of work and maybe even an hour of testing before it should even consider going public.
