Love the app! Just finished our first walk and it was all very easy to follow, from the direction to get there, the path itself and the tracking route. Impossible to get lost. The walk took exactly the same time as indicated (we chose a 2h one and we finished in 2h). I especially liked the fact that the app update in real time so you always know where you are and also smaller paths are highlighted.

Great APP that uses GPS, this comes in handy for those walks with poor phone signal. Have been on walks not knowing which way to go before, but this now solves that problem telling you exactly where you are. Great walks with an option to leave feedback that will help improve the APP, with new walks being added in future updates. The subscription is minimal only £14.99 a year, or you can choose to pay monthly. Annual cost works out at £1.25 a month, less than a hot drink. In my opinion, worth it!

There is 2 reasons for the low score: 1. You can't even see a high level view of the routes before subscribing, maybe offer a handful of free ones and then if the app is really any good more people will subscribe. 2nd issue and the key one, it's all focused on 'going to the pub', the only refreshments listed are pubs, not everyone wants to visit pubs, especially those with autistic children where its not suitable. Maybe add some other refreshment points that aren't pubs!.

Some good walks on here, but lots of issues when trying to walk along some footpaths on the routes. Several times we have been midway through a walk and the footpath through a farmers field no longer exists (one of the worst was the longest route around Baldock). Some of the shorter walks (the 6 mile around Langley) also had no footpath along one section. Would be good for users to be able to rate each walk / feedback against specific routes.

This app has actually changed my weekends. I love picking a walk and taking my dogs new places. I have gained in confidence exploring new areas as I always have the map to fall back on if I get a bit lost where as before I wouldnt go to places I didnt know without someone with me. Thank you Hertfordshire Walks..you really have made a difference to my life!

Great app for ideas of where to get outdoors in Hertfordshire. The only way it would be perfect is if it was possible to select walks you're interested in. A favourites button? But seriously a great app.

Downloaded as it looked amazing. Then realised you cannot see any walks without paying a subscription fee so immediately deleted. Will stick to OS Maps and All trails.

Great App perfect for hundreds of walks and tells you everything from where you eat to how long and where the walk goes. Great for all ages and if you love hiking this is the best app around. Enjoy folks.
