I love using Acellus! The platform is very engaging, with short videos taught by great teachers, followed by problems that come in different formats like drills, multiple choice, or text-based. Students can get an accredited high-school diploma through Acellus Academy, and can take electives like programming, field-specific CTE courses, and more. My experience has been spectacular!

Since the update, this app crashes CONSTANTLY on the student side, and the parent side will not log in with my fingerprint. I have to get a code sent to my phone and log in that way every time I use it. My son has had to switch to the power homeschool website because he is so frustrated. It worked fine until the last update. ZERO issues.

I'm not quite sure if it was because of some new update or not, but now I cannot rotate the videos to horizontal from vertical anymore without turning on auto-rotate and even if I do, the video is smaller when in horizontal mode.

the new version puts me in a complete bootloop. once all security information is entered, the app goes back to the welcome screen. this should have been solved in alpha and beta testing

seems like the app has been updated and it won't accept my pin on the parent side and won't let me reset my pin. so can't change my kids subjects etc
Set Apart On Purpose
The update kicked me out & I can't login to the parent portal. The support team does not help with anything.

Using Acellus since 2021, we’re thrilled with the app and school. Our eldest graduated high school; our youngest just started HS. The app offers core subjects, electives, honors, and AP courses for all levels. Short, engaging video lessons followed by ~6 multiple-choice questions lead to unit exams and finals. Parents can set goals, track progress, and manage courses. Content quality has improved significantly. Superior to traditional schools. Highly recommended!

Since the new update changed the dashboard it is extremely hard to navigate and see what your child has completed. With the old setup you could easily click on any tab to see things like, classes completed,hours spent, how many times an exam was retaken, how many steps are done; that is no longer the case with the new dashboard. The app is no longer user friendly for parents or children, very hard to navigate.
