App constantly freezes and crashes when I try to open my schedule. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it several times, and it just won't work. Very frustrating! I'm glad that I have all that info online since the midwinter conference is virtual this year, but I really hope that this app is better when we're back in person.

Except that exhibits are called library marketplace, the app works as expected. Slow to open, you'll have to keep it open during the conference. Would have liked to see a top level list of major speakers. If there is such a list in the app, we'll, that tells you that it is a bit opaque. You need to know where the information is in order to find it.

See below for 2021. In 2018 content suddenly disappeared, after several days of adding events! No link at all and no explanation. Here's my update in 2021: same exact problem! App crashes while doing updating. All pre-existing personal schedule data lost. Closing and restarting the app does not help. I don't see a way to have continuous/background updating - it seems to do nothing until you open it, then it takes forever. It looks really nice at first glance, but I have uninstalled.

I've yet to have a positive experience with the ALA conference apps but this year seems particularly bad. The list of disfunctions is long but I'll focus on the most frustrating: had to uninstall and reinstall to get the app from shutting down immediately, no content in the app FAQ, email support function fails to connect to email, Apple version doesn't seem to have a refresh option.

Enjoyed the app. Easier than carrying the full schedule and catalog. Search function could be a bit better, perhaps by having better descriptions with better key words included within them. For example, if you put two words in the search, it would only bring back exact matches to the phrase. if the words were in reverse order in the session description, it would return no results.

Some helpful. Ready access to the shuttle information alone makes it useful. But another year goes by that I have to tear out the paper exhibit hall map and hand color the booths I most want to visit. The generic PDF conf ctr map online doesn't show the booths. The maps also don't tell you what side of the building the registration area is on or where the luggage check is.

APP worked well, especially since i could go through the listed programs once, star several for the same time, and then decide as they came up which one i really wanted to attend. Also useful for keeping track of others in my party and when they'd be finished with their choices.

I have repeatedly installed uninstalled and reinstalled again. One time I got it to work, but not again. That time it worked, it seemed great. Wish I could get it to l9ad again. It just sits on the opening ALA screen forever.
