Above and beyond other dating apps if you're looking for other Catholics, but that's not saying much. The app needs quite a bit of work. It logs you out automatically, so you'll have to sign in nearly every time you open the app. Once you do type in your credentials (or use your fingerprint or whatever saved login method you have), it might or might not work, depending on who knows what. This is just one of the more annoying things about the app, but it is one of many.

No privacy. If you delete your account and later on open an account with the same email, all your old messages reappear and much of your information from your old profile. Instead of convenient, it's disturbing all that is retained. The online app and website is very archaic in its options for filtering and managing your profile and messages, which can make the experience emotionally exhausting.

Can't send messages at all IN THE APP. No update came in, but for the last three days I can't send messages to anyone unless they have messaged first. I had to use the desktop site to send a message. Please read my comment correctly. Your app is having an issue that needs to be addressed.

The app is basically unusable unless you buy premium. Even then you still might have to wait 10 days for someone to respond if they don't have premium. You'd think with these restrictions premium would priced reasonably. Nope! $30 a month, or $90 for 6 months, or $120 for a year. Why is there even an option for a year if I'm trying to find a serious relationship?

After giving Premium a try because of a sale. I genuinely think online dating is just a complete waste of time and money. Sure I talked to some women, but only women outside of my country. All the local women are too few in number even though I'm in a relatively high population area in the USA. The asking price for this app is far too high for it to be worth it. Also likes system is very buggy because you don't get feedback that you hearted a person until you reload their profile page.

I paid for a 1 year subscription. I'm in Cincinnati, which is loaded with Catholics, yet I was unable to meet even 1 person. This is not really the apps fault, although it does not seem to be very popular, at least close to me. I had several women from other countries "like" me, but that's not what I'm looking for (I'd drive an hour, but that's it). Maybe it was my profile, but I have been far more successful on Hinge and Bumble with the same profile. So don't expect much from this app.

There is a new world of issues involved in the culture of dating apps. No app has given me more misery than this one, that's not necessarily the apps fault, but the people that are on it. I have been on Catholic Match paying a subscription for three years and I regret it all. I've wondered if the accounts on this app are even real or if there are just a lot of "filler" profiles. When I do get a match at some point I'll get notified "Ella has decided not to recieve messages from you".

the dating world is tough for guys. I've sent plenty of messages and likes, and never got a single like or message back. None of those girls even viewed my profile either. Probably gonna delete my subscription.
