This app is fairly accurate in its weather forecasting. the small errors I've seen have been due to things like radar blindspots or NWS forecasts not being updated in a timely manner. Allowing the driver to choose major roads, Interstates, and other highways to get to your final destination would be helpful. The next thing is to update the cities list so that names that begin with St, like St Louis, MO or St Cloud, MN can be found.

It worked for awhile, now the temperatures are not correct. It's showing it is 2 degrees outside when it is 27. The app also doesn't let you unsubscribe from the pro version which is mind boggling. It's useless now that it is showing the wrong temperature and I don't want it automatically charging my account.

Excellent for seeing the weather along our route when towing our 5th wheel. Helps avoid heavy storms, strong winds. Would tolerate some ads if the pro features were included in the free version.

The FREE version appears to be useless and unless the pro has a much better interface, I am not very hopeful for it either. answer to developer highway weather. Your paid version may be great but the free version does not lead you to that conclusion. I was prepared to buy in but could not get the app to go to the same route that Google maps suggested so that i could compare them.

Update: I have been using this app for years now. They are continually making improvements. Get the upgrade. Worth every penny! Previous: As an over-the-road trucker, I am finding this app quite helpful. It gives routing options similar to Google maps, and the forecasts have been accurate. My only complaint is that when I open the app it immediately starts generating a forecast for my previous route and I have to wait for it to complete that process before I can enter my new route request.

I'm trying to watch the video tutorial, because the app is not showing icy road conditions in spite of the fact that my area is in the midst of an ice storm. I get an error message and can't watch the video because the app can't detect my wifi. Isn't this a driving app? Shouldn't it work via cellular connection? So far, this app has been of no use at all in determining road conditions.

Great app - FANTASTIC developer response. I love the app for the planning and execution of our twice-a-year 8000 mile cross-country roadtrips (AZ to ME to CT to NC to SC and back to AZ.) I did have a few questions and e-mailed the developer from within the app and he responded with comprehensive answers in 12 minutes!! The subscription fee is worth it to me. Highly recommend it for road warriors.

Edit: I had found after an update that the app couldn't be used unless I enabled permissions for activity that I did not want to enable. The developer reached out and advised the reason behind it and while nothing nefarious I still try to keep my data sharing to a minimum. He removed the requirement for that permission and now I'm a happy customer again. Not only is the app great but the responsiveness to concerns was above and beyond. Kudos!
