Don't think it will help you. It only reads the magnetic field strength sensor of the phone. (Put a magnet next to phone = "device detected") You might find this useful, but you have to really know what you're looking for and be technically educated about it. The IR light detector is highly dependent on your phones camera and its lenses, and you could just use your camera app instead. I don't think the blue tint overlayed over the camera feed is helping anything. Try it with your TV remote. No

I would definitely recommend this tool. It has a lot of neat features, like the ability to detect infrared light and 3 different methods of detecting hidden devices. Also it has a tips and tricks section that gives you a lot of ideas of places and situations where you might find hidden devices and how to best detect them. I'm honestly surprised that a tool like this doesn't charge for it, it's completely free.

Overall not a bad app. It's very easy to navigate and has some pretty cool features! The only problem I have and its got nothing to do with the app itself, but the ads are a little long especially when they cant be skipped at a certain point. But other than that the app is pretty cool!

I am unaware of what device it was looking for, it made some beeping noise and the graph indicated something but all it registered was my parents old am/fm stereo! But It works really well and definitely will be using it more and checking out more of what it does!

I like it! I tried out the metal detector and it worked well and the other graphs and meters were interesting as well I tried it on non-metal items and it didn't sound off so there were no fooling it! it was like a mini detector in your hand
