The app won't retain the zip code location setting preference for SDP Outages. You can enter the zip code that you want to see outages for but that data is not retained when you exit the app. When you exit the app and relaunch it, the zip code you entered is missing and there are no zip codes being reported on. I am on the latest version of this app from the play store. This app is the only way to get SDP outage notifications from SCE. They don't have that on their website.

The app just doesn't really work! It tells me I have messages waiting but it just spins and spins. I have yet to see even one message! I have SCE tweets delivered to my phone but they are very general and don't apply to me in particular. Not sure if the app would be more specific because I've never seen a message!

Updated to 6/20/22 version and still get the unexpected & dreaded "app stopped" pop-up error message. Open the app -> nothing is new. Concerned events are happening and I don't see them. Still on stock OnePlus 9.5.13 with OP7Pro. It did work a couple years ago. Nice when it does.

App quit working weeks ago. I've uninstalled/reinstalled and it's the same. C'mon, SCE; you must already know this. Please fix it! EDIT: The app regained functionality a month or so after my review; I forgot to post an update (sorry). It's a bit cumbersome to use but it gets the job done. I've upped my rating from 2 stars to 3.

App used to have great push notifications, however they are either hours late or don't show up at all. Messages tab shows messages available but never loads. Backing out of app takes you to every tab before exiting. Needs User Experience work!!

I love the app so far. It tells me when pricing changes so I can decide if it's worth it or not. I love it tells me when the air conditioner will cycle off because before I used to think my air conditioner was broken. Also because I have Great Dane dogs that stay in the house when it is hot so if the house gets to hot they can get over heated and get sick. Thank you.

I thought this app would alert when they were cycling the air conditioner. I have to check my phone (after I notice that it is getting hot in the house) to see that there was an alert an hour ago. I thought it would send a text. I shouldn't have to check my phone.

the system works again, but for some reason, my phone and others in our home were getting multiple : TEST" messages around midnight for some reason, was this a mistake or was the system HACKED? Used to work but like all the others reviews someone at sce decided to mess with it . Now I am wasting my time on hold to talk to someone that probably won't be able to make it work
