What they had with MangaRock was so much better, responsive and feature rich. I keep giving this app a chance but it just pales in comparison, the app doesnt wanna load stuff half the time, selection to read is non existent as stuff gets removed or is forever incomplete unless i go elsewhere to read where the series will have all chapters and no way to back up what I've read/am reading. It saddens me as this could have been 1000x better knowing what the devs are capable of...

Fairly decent app - daily opportunities to earn ink (currency) and bigger challenges for greater rewards periodically. Biggest reason this got docked stars is because the viewer for reading is so irritatingly faulty! It's a nightmare trying to back out of the app (clicking once should pull up the navigation, but it also sends the screen flying to the next page more often than not, making it near impossible to navigate). The entire app also crashes often, usually after a full screen ad.

+ Greate listing UI. - Poor reader design some how, just because the manga is read from right to left on each page does not mean we need to swipe from left to right (whice universally mean go back!!!) To go to the next page. It's just confusing. - Showing ads after subscription is a big no - Not many title on the platform and even with that, the existing title is not update fast enough. I meant 47/79 chapter of my favorite manga is available here and it's been a week without update. Ok 😒

The app works beautifully but the design is just overwhelming. It's like they took the parts of the old MR app that were annoying and then doubled down on them. There's way too much going on and I expected to be able to find what I'm looking for much more easily. I'm not really sure what sets it apart from all its more established competitors besides offering a (significantly smaller) library from multiple countries. Looking forward to seeing how they'll improve with all the feedback & reviews.

Nice layout, easy to use app. However, ads AND pretty much making it pay only? I wouldn't mind if it was just ads and pay a premium to get rid of ads, but that's pretty ridiculous. Yes there's INK points you can use for coins but the cheapest coin pack being 1000 INK and only getting 10 INK for an ad, pretty much 100 ads for each chapter. As nice as this app is the cost of using it makes it not worth it. TLDR I'd be happier buying hard copies.

The paid subscription doesn't give you all the chapters and has ads. I would gladly pay twice as much if it meant removing ads and bypassing the coin system. Mixing a paid subscription and a coin system is a bit too much monetization for me. I hope it changes in future and allows users to choose between an all encompassing sub or to buy chapters a la carte.

Android update on 1.4.23 ruined what i liked about the app. To make the long story short, the app was glitchy, ads weren't overwhelming which I liked, and it was pretty easy to use and gave me the notifications when a story updated. The apparent Android agreement that went into effect (and it was the first time I'm hearing/reading about it today) where they removed all explicit content and encourage the readers to use their website, feels like a cop-out for the ongoing issues with the app.

I don't understand how exactly this app runs. You removed the system where ink can be traded for coins for non-premium users which is so unfair. On top of that, one needs to pay for chapters even after subscribing? Unnecessarily complicated. Just keep a subscription model and ads for coins for non-subscribers. It'll make both those who can pay for comics and those who can't, happy. Also, the app consumes too much data, please include a data saving mode.
