If ur like me & can only listen via the app, you may also find it wild frustrating to realize that u can't listen longer than 10 mins at a time. When u hit play, not only do u have to listen to an ad before Hot97 plays, a FULL SCREEN AD shows up, blocking ALL audio until u interact with it. After, u have to stay in the app or else audio will cut. If u lock ur screen, u'll only get a few mins B4 it cuts out mysteriously, then u do it all over. For a "free" app, you really pay with ur patience...

Update: was fixed for awhile now with the latest update it just cuts to commercial while they are doing the show never during a song now this week it just keeps jumping all over the place from song to show then commercial all in 1 minute... This app is horrible it keeps cutting out and just randomly stopping, also i dont like all the permissions that are on this all why do you need to listen to my phone calls?

This app is the Worst! I only listen to the radio when I'm in the shower and it keeps cutting off on me, presumably for some advertisement. Then I have to dry my wet soapy hands to try to find the play button again! Update: Even after an update it still does the same thing! Samsung Galaxy Note

This app is complete trash. The new ad mechanism keeps cutting the audio at random times forcing you to open the app so it can load a new ad and continue playing audio. Again the app is trash and really forcing me to stop listening to Hot 97 altogether. I really only listen to one show anyway.

I love Hot 97, but you guys need to speak to the IT department because this updated is trash. I haven't been able to utilized the app the way I am use too. There is always a pause and music starts playing in the middle of the guru or "Congratulations you played yourself". It just frustrating. Please fix it. Loyal listener

EXCESSIVE ads!! 5 minutes or more of hearing nothing but ads before actually getting to listen to the station. Also the ads will interrupt the stream randomly. It has recently gotten like this and it's becoming annoying.

I would of kept using the app if ads didn't show up in the middle of the song where the song pauses and I have to take my phone out my pocket to close the app and continue to hear the music. So ****** annoying. Uninstalled

The look of the app is nice but trying to listen live to the radio is bad. Plays a full song first before listening in live to the actual radio broadcast. Rather get a 30 second ad then a full song.
