Was able to identify my stereo speaker amp from onkyo. The system was old and the remote was lost ages ago, I haven't encountered any intrusive ads and the app is simple to use it remembers the device you want it to control. It wasn't able to identify any televisions, but then again that isn't what this app was made for. My only quarrel is that the interface is very generalized as it includes a bunch of buttons that were never on the remote, and seem like they're for other systems.

I'm stuck at home in quarantine from covid-19 and Amazon delayed shipping for another month. luckily I found my old Samsung Galaxy phone with IR capabilities. I needed a remote for my old Marantz audio receiver so I can watch movies really loud. This app saved the day. the old app I had installed discontinued support for most older devices and went digital and WiFi controls. I'm stuck in the past I guess with my receiver and cerwin-vega's. it's only stereo but it makes movies sound good. 5 STARS

Good overall, especially for free!!! Missing a couple buttons/features I can't get to on my older Yamaha HTR-5940, but due to an indoor "Ollie Challenge" with my kids the old remote didn't have a chance against the Indy trucks, and a replacement is about 30 bucks, so I'm not going to be able to use a couple features for a bit ;) It takes a while to try every single button to find the 12 or so that will actually work, but if you take an hour or so, you'll get alot of stuff you can't do w/o it

Partially works for Sony STR DE-925. Many of the buttons are not functional. Some are cross linked. The TV button does nothing, but Video 2 connects the TV output. On/Off works, and the layout is pretty good. This remote does not operate the unified components.

A ton of unskippable, 10-second ads when setting up. And one everytime you start up. Super annoying. . . And then a random assortment of 30+, all circular, some hard to read buttons, making it hard to find the one you want. Which may not even exist. . . Also, my phone's IR blaster can't reach the AVR nearly as well as the remote. So this is basically useless for me... As long as I have the original remote. . . Uninstalled.

Downloaded the app, chose the brand of my AVR (it's a Yamaha RX-359), it went through some different settings until it found the ones that work. AND IT WORKS I am very satisfied with the app

Maybe it is a good app for a store to switch on and off many various AV receivers. An average user has one AV receiver and a CD/DVD player, LCD display or TV. The user needs to arrange frequently used buttons for various devices on a single screen.

Used for Marantz stereo amplifier. Installed on Huawei p30 pro (it has ir sensor). Have got it working in about 1 min. After choosing brand from the list, you will find different remote sets. Second one was working for me. It switches unit on and off, control volume and inputs. Happy enough. Thank you.
