It's okay. It's a cool idea but sometimes the blending results in colors that are way off. Other times it's great. I still recommend using this because it's still a great app for people who have a harder time determining colors. My recommendation, test swatch your blends and if you don't like the outcome try different pressure or skip and choose the best color from the recommendation that pops up without mixing. Sometimes the base itself is a better choice. Also Crayola Please!

Sometimes I have difficulty choosing color schemes for my coloring pages, so what I often end up doing is looking at other colorists finished results on the same picture and use theirs as a reference. That's where using the Colored Pencil Picker app comes in handy. This app makes it incredibly easy to figure out which colors were used, and the creator has included most of the top pencil brands on the market. For me this app is so helpful, I don't know what I'd do without it. ✏️📚

Works great, not buggy but would like to be able to control sample size. Would love it if we could select paper color too! Have to revise my initial review after using the app. Zooming in changes the sample size, so that's no longer an issue. I'm finding the app to be fairly accurate, sometimes surprising me with it's choices. Still wish you could select paper color though.

It's a pretty good app. Fairly accurate as I tested it over an image that I coloured myself. It matched fairly well though it does depend on how your phone camera picks up certain colours, but if you have downloaded an image from online then I would say it's very accurate. Looking forward to seeing more penciks included. I have Lyra Rembrandts as well. Ads on the free version are fairly invasive, though.

Hello there! This app is so awesome and helpful to use when mixing colours. I would absolutely love to see this tool developped to it's fullest potentual, with multiple brands of colours available and so on. I do hope that each brand will not be limited to only a few product lines, but that they will soon feature all of the ranges. Takes Derwent. I have the Coloursoft set, but this app doesn't cover that product. I would love to see it some day. The reason for why I do not give it 5 stars is because I think it still needs more work (e.g. more brands and product lines, possibly including all mediums from wax and oil to graphite, pastel and watercolour even (altho I think prioritizing lightfast colour ranges first would be prefferable). A feature that also would help make gradients would also be nice to have) but also more specific guidelines (such as how to understand a 1:2:2 ratio adn other combinations than the ones given, and an instruction of when you can burnish/blend the area). I hope this app will see some more love and new features soon. It's too wonderful to drop.

Very helpful app, but really do need to be able to choose from colours from more than one set at a time. Also, once pic is loaded and you do choose a new pencil set, pic is reset and you have to find and load the pic again..this is a bit clumsy. Other than that, really like that each pencil also has their number in the set as part of the description. Easy to use and cool colour combos which I would not have picked with the natural eye.

This app is very helpful to get in the general color range especially for a beginner. But I have downloaded several color charts from prismacolor and it almost never picks the correct color from the chart. It would be nice if you could calibrate it somehow. Also, I'd love to upgrade but 8 bucks? Really? That being said, I do find it very useful.

Thank you for this great app! I use it to try new combinations when I am stuck with my drawings. The app does more than simply suggest the "closest" shade in your collection, which is what I anticipated. It gives you a layering combination of two or three colors for each point, and shows you the approximate shade you will get alongside the original shade from your photo. I was pleasantly surprised at the accuracy of this app!
