Absolutely phenomenal and the brushes have taken everything to a whole new dimension! Even with using the "best" brushes since 2006, I've never been able to paint like I am now! T'isn't just brush strokes and colors he examples which each artist can modify their own perceptions and muscle tones to, but also the infinite tips of thin to thick paint, unique usages of brushes, differences even minute in moving from background to foreground of entire project down to each object within. And explaining the "why's" along with example proofs. Everything in generous simple terms. A born painter he is, and a rare magnificent teacher/sharer of the art world's magic.

Not just a great artist Michael is also a very good teacher taught me some really good techniques . I started off with oil's self taught trial an error was fun but if you really want to progress definitely worth learning proper techniques also type of brushes etc.. sorry for essay worth the money. Very good however, if you leave the app and come back to it, it should really remember your place in the video. I hate having to try finding where I left off each time. Please find this Michael but apart from that, I like this app and have learned a great deal by watching you.

Great app! I have not painted in almost 20 years and MJS was is a great instructor, who is very easy to follow. Well worth the subscription! Would love to see mini-turorials on smaller subjects to help build up basic skills.

Just completed my second tutorial. I'm trying the beginner to intermediate grade. They are challenging for me but Michael gives a very detailed step by step guide and I am enjoying learning all the time.

Have been painting for years - started subscribing last year, finally have had an opportunity to paint along with your lesson. I love hearing you speak (I'm originally from Liverpool) it's very determined. I learned before I was too far into the painting (I think it's the manor house) that I don't take enough time with my sketch, that you use many different brushes and I love your lessons. Michael James Smith is not only an amazing painter, but an excelente maestro as well. I have paid for numerous online tutorials, and this is by far have the most DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS, EASY NAVIGATION, HIGH DEFINITION QUALITY, and CLEAR AUDIO. Beginner, intermediate and advanced skill set will fall in love with the teachings he offer. To Michael: thank you for your generosity. By generosity, I meant your time.
