it's fun. I loved the first two KoP&P games and this one is just as great. awesome graphics, easy controls, very user friendly. my only issue is the same issue I had with the first two games, it's very money heavy. you're not FORCED to pay money, but the grind you face if you don't makes it hard to play the game for more than a few minutes at a time, especially at higher levels

One of my favorite aspects of the previous games is the ability to really flesh out your party and make some unique combinations. Unfortunately the character creation is immediately hamstrung by lack of Player options. Only being able to pick Average Joe/Jane at the beginning does not match well with not being able to make duplicate classes, not having any sort of respec mechanic, and having to unlock different Players.

Dramatically better than the 2nd game but still far worse than 1st. There's no tool tips for any of the stats so you basically have to guess what everything does. You can only level abilities and town upgrades with gems. A lot of classes also share abilities so almost nothing is unique. There's also a lot of "back and forth" quests specifically designed to make you waste money on traveling. Overall..fun but has a long way before it's even close to the first game.

It's a good game but you will have to purchase gems at some point if you want to progress. Sales tactics is minus 2 stars. I would much rather pay 10 bucks and make everything cost gold. Needing gems to upgrade skills and upgrade your town which you will need to do to progress. I understand making some of the classes premium but the fact you gotta spend money to progress is kinda lame. Just charge one price upfront and be done with it.

The look of the game and music is decent. But why is upgrading skills cost premium currency? As well as hobby world that currency as well. That you only get a few per a quest? With slow level progression. The only think good i can see, is that all classes and back ground maybe gotten for free if you take the time... to much grinding ad well downgrade writing.

It's generally fun, but plagued with balance issues. It is difficult to level without grinding and, therefore, makes for a challenging experience. It's hard to want to grind, however, due to the repetitive nature of the side quests. Would be more enjoyable if it were easier to get weapons and characters to a decent level faster.

Honestly, its made a few steps forward compared to the previous game, but so many massive steps backward that it ruins everything else. Build variety is dead, skills range from completely useless to only slightly better than your normal attack, items are nothing more than stat sticks now, enemies outscale the player really quickly and you never seem to catch up, its just all kinda bleh. For those who play DnD, this is the 4e of KoPnP

Boom Ball

A slow fall from grace. Compared to the previous titles, this just feels like a husk. Dull class abilities (most are copied between classes and just bland), many of the charming mechanical aspects from the previous titles are gone. I was so excited when I saw they made a 3rd game but this just feels like no one cared for the DND-esque mechanics that made the predecessors so great. It's not a bad game, but compared to the others it is very disappointing, no soul. Back to 1 & 2 for me
