It looked like it could be a good app, but very disappointed with how it took over my phone, changed the look and layout of my widgets, would not let me access the app until I installed their calculator then deluded me with sticky add I couldn't use. Acted more like malware than an app. Never had one like it. I'd say it's just a "free" platform for their profit. I dumped it quick. It still has control of my app widget look. 😡

Really great app. It was about 20 years since I last made a set of stairs and this app took out all the guesswork and they came out perfect. I would like to see an option to use different units and/or give useful fractions (8ths, 16ths, etc.) instead of decimals. Update: I found the options after a response to my review. Thanks for your reply. I would give more stars if possible. Absolutely great app.

This is a cool app except that the dimensions on the drawing that the app calls "stringer length view" are nearly useless. The information provided is correct, however, it is very hard to use it in a practical sense. All of the dimensions are relative to each other vs. from a datum point. Using a common point for dimensions is the correct way to dimension a drawing and gives the user a starting place. If it was dimensioned correctly, I'd give it 5 stars.

Free version is no more useful than the "stair calculators" that are already readily available online. The paid version looks promising, but it's overpriced, unless you're a contractor using it for business. A subscription pricing option would be great for occasional users.

Useful app. I change my mind for the free version. If you think you might want to use it more than once then prepare to pay the money. The adds are the worst. Also the kind that take over volumn on your phone so this add just starts yelling at you. The app itself pretty effective if you ever get passed the adds. Be nice if there was a lower cost to rid the adds to keep the basic functions working.

Examples dont reflect terms well. 40yr ago I knew the terms & relationships. If this presentation were better, it would refresh my memory. It's more for someone doing it often, but too lazy to do it in their head.Some teaching effort applied& this might "be something".I'd do better with freehand apps & "rulers without numbers ". I played 1hr& could'nt tell which value was causing change or not Simply mirroring terms at input with in examples, might help folks follow it. Not intuitive enough.

Absolutely worthless, I need to build deck stairs with one landing and wouldn't you know you only get that by buying the pro version. I searched for staircase with one landing calculator. I saw stairs x-light, with the words I searched for this app should not have came up, the developer linked this app to that search to get people to install it, only to be told to buy the pro app for more than just strait stairs. It was misleading at best and an outright lie to push the pro version at worst.

Free version is ok, limited input makes it hard to get accurate calculations. I couldn't find a way to enter stringer length or thickness for bowstring setup. Pro version is cost prohibitive at $18.99, so I have no way to see if it has proper inputs for accurate calculations.
