I love KERA and the content. The app is easy to use too. I especially like having it on my phone when I travel long distance by car, I never have to lose my local shows.

Minutes after updating the app to the new version the podcast stopped streaming. Although it started back up a few minutes later it crashed again. Apparently, not very stable. Also, it incessant pop-ups that ask for a rating distract from the content and frankly, annoy the s**t out of me.

in all this time they still have not fixed their main flaws. cannot handle a network change or audio output device change. Poor development 240829- nice try adding the ability to jump forward and back, but not well baked as it gets confused and plays multiple play heads at the same time if you try to jump faster than it is capable. The FF and FB buttons are not implemented, would be nice if they skipped forward and back by greater time index than the skip 30s forward and skip 10s back buttons.

Impressive app for listening & reading local DFW, regional North Texas, Texas, national, & international news stories & breaking news notifications. Conveniently has the entirety of KERA's stations available for streaming (classical music through WRR & local, alternative and eclectic music through KXT.)

If you like Public Radio you will love this App. I wish I could listen to KERA all the day long. So this is the next best thing. Any time anywhere I can enjoy all the past shows I missed. Now, I just need more freetime. ♡

The latest update has made the experience worse for listening to podcasts and recorded shows. Any input affecting the time of the recording - pause, skip ahead, rewind 10 seconds - causes you to lose the recording and jump to live. It's not possible to listen to anything without paying it straight all the way through. I've tried deleting and uninstalling the app several times with no change. It does the same thing in the KXT app, too.
