This is the only weather app that I trust because of, well, James Spann of course. Being able to hear alerts read out loud when I'm not even using my phone, is the most comforting feature in my opinion. Plus, I can keep up with and get alerts on family members in other states. Unlike most apps, there's no charge or subscription needed for any of it. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Here we go again! This weather app is so unpredictable! I have finally found a weather app that is accurate! Weather Underground! I don't think that James Spann has a clue what information is put on 33/40 weather app! His forecast is always completely different from the TV forecast compared to the app forecast! Again today, the forecast states 80% chance of rain,...not a drop of rain. So uninformative weather forecast! This weather app is not informative at all!

It was fine until the latest update changed the look of the notifications. Instead of showing the current temp, it now just shows an icon for the type of weather (sun for sunny, cloud for cloudy, etc.). I can just look out the window to see if it's sunny. I would rather see the temp, thanks. Now I have to pull down the notification bar to see it. Not loving that extra step.

It's ok could be better. My biggest complaint is that when the screen turns off, or when you click into another app, it completely restarts. You have to wait for the start-up screen to clear off before you can look at something you were just looking at. I could see if you forced stopped the app or closed it out in the background, but the way it is now with everytime is aggravating.

The app has become almost unusable. It has worked pretty well for years. But today, I have four color overlays on the map (down from 5 earlier today). Severe Thunderstorm Warning, Sever Thunderstorm Watch Excessive Heat Warning AND a Special Weather Statement. It's nice to know about those but I CAN'T SEE THE APPROACHING STORM! There has to be a better way to tell about warnings without completely blotting out the screen. I hope they update soon. Time to start looking for another weather app.

When it works it's okay. Sometimes it crashes and I have to force my phone to restart. The other apps on my phone don't crash my phone. I agree with another review about the weather forecast changing in real time. I don't even look at forecasts anymore, just the radar maps and watch for cold fronts. Climate change has made weather forecasting a dead science. The advertising has not been intrusive. I do like the look of the app over other news stations, otherwise I would uninstall it.

Simply put, it's inaccurate! Too many times it's rained pretty hard, or even stormed, and the predicted forecast was not even close. That's not really a problem. However, it's NEVER updated. Perfect example, on yesterday dark clouds came about. There were several rounds of thunder, lightning strikes, and HAIL. The forecast continued to show sunshine with no rain, even after the storm. Nahhh...

App not starting after latest Android 14 security update. It brings up the app start up screen for a few seconds then crashes out. I've already cleared cache, cleared storage, and finally deleted and reinstalled. Still nothing. Update: Problem has been fixed and the app is now working again.
