Terrible app! They've taken away the paper maps and left us with an app that contains the map. Unfortunately, the map mislabels restaurant names, restroom locations, exhibit names, doesn't have up-to-date pathway closures, and never seems to have your correct location in the park. The app has a long way to go before getting into the 4-star range. Love the Denver Zoo, but not the app.

The overall map of the zoo is not helpful. In fact, over the last few years, other people have complained that the map doesn't scale or update. This makes it unusable. I can download a PDF version of the map from your website that's more accurate. That should be the map in the app. Also, using the customer's current location on the map is not possible. It's just a permission issue, so make it a necessity if the customer wants to use the app and see their current location in the zoo.

It's a very helpful app. It's fun being able to pull up information on the animals- such as their names, it's also nice having a map (shows exhibits, rides, food service stands, and also shows where the next nearest bathroom is- very helpful for having little kids). It no longer has the feature where you can reserve tickets, which is a pain bc I have to access a computer now or uninstall app to make reservations. At least you can still access your tickets that you do have reserved through it.

According to this app the Denver Zoo only has about 40 animals, because that's all it shows. After spending 17 minutes on hold to ask about the cassowary my kids were hoping to see, i was directed here to find the "most up-to-date" information about the animal. So like a rube, i ended the call and DL'd this app, only to find that almost none of the zoo's animals are actually listed. "Search" is no better. Bad experience from a zoo constantly getting rid of the animals that once made it great.

The animal icons on the map do not scale. They are too big and cover up other parts of the map, like walkways, entrance, etc. In the era of COVID, the zoo does not provide paper maps. The map in the app is supposed to be a substitute, but a very poor substitute it is.

Not what it should be. Map is worthless. Should have fine detail on zoom and a location icon for "You are here". Basic functionality now days. The zoo is great with friendly help and free paper maps to guide you.

Pretty lousy app. The pictures of the animals obscure everything, so it's hard to figure out where you are or what you're looking for. Also seems the search animal future doesn't work either. So worthless it's easier just to use the maps posted periodically in the zoo.

Installed and said it was for an older version of Android, last update for app shows it is almost s year and a half ago. Also, it doesn't have all of the animals and neither does the website. The website used to have all animals, including all the different kinds of fish, but now you can't find them on the app or the website, very disappointed since we plan our trips around specific animals and not always the most popular ones or most well known ones that are highlighted on the app.
