Excellent! Makes visiting long distance possible! I've used the app 2 times, missed one out of 3, because of time zone issues. Teach me to trust google lol. The video was greatandaudio also. I cannot get my headphones to work, though that's a small issue and work aroundable. I'm in the US and my friend is in the UK. I appreciate the developers. I have had 2 video calls so far. The first one paused quite a few times and there was a delay whilst speaking. The second one was much better it only paused once and there was not as much delay. It's a brilliant way of keeping in touch at the moment. I would still like to use this service even if visits get back to normal.

Very handy app for the circumstances. My only qiarm is that the screen of me takes up alot of the screen of the participant . So you have to keep saying a little bit to the left or vice versa. Just to get them in shot. Which kind of defeat the purpose. But nevertheless it's free and nothing beats talking to a loved one you miss.

Overall the service is good although some tines it can be a little too sensitive if you move or anything, i just wish we could make more than one video call a month because they are only 30 minutes long although its better than nothing i suppose. UPDATE 28/01/22 the app has been good mostly but my last one would disconnect alot as it depends on a good wifi signal i used my data in the end.

Shocking. Cuts out. Thinks there are other people present all the time when there isn't. The pic of yourself on the screen covers the face of tbe person you want to see! Can't hear. Other conversations in the prison room are reflected back through the mobile phone to the prisoner so they can hear the people in the room twice, and much louder than the person they want to speak to. But we're stuck with this as only option

Great app! Works wonders if you follow the guidelines. Be great if they deployed this service throughout as part of a permenant way of communicating. Really made my 4 year olds day. As others with children have mentioned, it's tricky to keep them still therefore you do get cut off from time to time - could be a bit more family friendly. However, it has given lots of us a way of seeing our loved ones. Still gets a 9 from me.

Having a Purple Visit is great! There's no travelling to the venue, it feels so much more private (even knowing that some of these visits are monitored /recorded),there's no hustle and bustle signing in at reception, being searched or losing visit time queuing at the snack bar! There are no distractions either like other people's kids running around! It's just you and your visit... perfect! 👌. The only thing missing is the hugs at the end.
