Frustrating. Searches don't show all results. For example, searching for Ros na Rún season 22 or 23 only shows the second half of the season. Also buggy. If you pause and the screen shuts down, the app crashes and you have to search again for the show you were watching. I love the closed captioning, but the app overall needs some work.

Android TV experience was subpar, primarily issues with navigation, exploring content and enabling subtitles. Downloading apk build for mobile through apkcombo and sideloading it on the TV resolved the issue. Mobile application build seems to be working fin fine on Android TV, starting, control and everything. So, if app developers are reading these reviews - Fix Android TV build, pretty pls. As for the mobile app, no complaints there, seems to be doing the job just fine.

When I try to stream episodes it crashes more often than not so the download option is great but there is no subtitles option when you're watching downloaded videos so I miss a fair bit of what's going on sometimes. My Irish is getting better but subtitles would definitely help.

Anyone with issues of rights restrictions, or basketball showing instead of GAA Beo: Uninstal the app, restart your device. Make sure location is set to Ireland on your device. Instal app again and click yes when it asks if you want to allow location. Won't work for some programmes if location is outside Ireland. This is a great app.

Generally fix the controls, this app has the image of giving control but when used results in random playback, control should be given to users or take controls interface away, it fails in the app. Play from start button, often doesn't play from start. Give control over time please, like God, allow people to slide through time playback. That would be great 👍

Really a great app, I only wish Irish subtitles were provided for more programs. What's more, even when a program description says that subtitles are available, the CC button is often missing, so it's not possible to switch them on.

I'm so glad this is on Chrome cast and Android tv. My kids aren't in gaelscoil so this is a previous resource to get the Irish language into our home. Any improvements that need to be made to close the gap with it's functionality and other streaming apps are understandable, they probably get a fraction of the tv licence money. Imho, given the heritage contribution, tg4 should get the full media budget! Godspeed to you developers who are offering this to the rest of us.

Love the app, I use it daily! My only complaints would be that I usually have to load a show up, then cancel out of it because the caption button doesn't appear, and load the show up again and the caption button appears. The other complaint would be the American date format. Why in god's name is that there?
