I love this widget and have used it continuously for more than a decade now. Thank you so much for your wonderful contribution! I should note that after my device updated to Android 15, the widget stopped updating each day. That's been a common problem for widgets on this latest Android version, not sure why. Hopefully you are able to find a solution, but for now it's helping me memorize scriptures until I remove and re-add the widget once a week. :-)

Edit: The app widget disapeared and reinstalling it isn't working after 3+ years of using it :( Sometimes I don't have time to study my scriptures, so it's great to have a different daily scripture right on the home screen of my device! My only suggestion: I've noticed that it seems to be the same scriptures repeated each year. I know there are more than 365 good scriptures out there (especially with the Book of Mormon included...). Could there be more scriptures please?

Nearly unreadable. The widget is set to a 2x2 space, but I couldn't find a way to change that. No customization for font size, which was so small I could hardly read it. (Which would be less of a problem if text used the whole space allotted.) The icon on the widget covered part of the text as well. Disappointing. Great idea, but not practically useable.

I've used this widget for forever, and have really enjoyed it. I especially like that it now opens in the Gospel Library app. However, it stopped working on my new phone (Galaxy S10) after owning it for a few weeks. Now it just says, "scripture loading." I followed the developer's advice from a response to another user having the same issue, but it defeats the purpose of the widget. It's easier to just open the Gospel Library app to a random scripture, ha :p

Each morning when my alarm wakes me, I've got a new scripture there to start my day too. I love it! Update - it disappeared off my phone when I did a restart about a month ago. I reinstalled it but now it doesn't change everyday. It's the same scripture everyday. I've uninstalled and reinstalled but it does the same thing. I'll be sad if this is no longer working

Love this widget....but having problems on my s10 5g. it loads just fine, just keeps saying, in the device maintenance settings, that its using a lot of battery. never had this problem with my s7 edge. I keep uninstalling and reinstalling to see the scripture, until the warning shows up. Hopefully there's a simple fix to this. I do love this !

I have used and loved this app for several years; however the last couple weeks the scripture doesn't change each day. I have had to uninstall and reinstall to make it work. It's also showing that the app is using a lot of battery power lately as well. Have other people been experiencing these issues?

I love this app but am saddened that with the update it only says it is loading, even after restarting, and unloading and reloading. Please find the correction. I'd love to have it back. With this correction please bring back the feature that takes you to the scripture, not just the chapter.
