The app gets stuck when accepting the cookies. I click proceed and it infinitely loads, never opening the interface

Asks a lot for cookie permissions, hoping that you give up and accept all of them. Bad evolution. Update 10/7/2024: and it got worse now asking for location permission all the time. In addition to that, it doesn't display anything half of the time. I think it's time to look for another app.

If I could give zero stars I would. This app keeps asking for permission to use cookies, and recently they removed the deny all button. The information that they ask for is far beyond the needs of a simple weather app. I already know the response of the developers, so I say this: "if your revenue relies on selling MY PERSONAL INFORMATION to third parties you have to change your business model."

There is a payment option to remove the ads. Cool, I thought. Let's do that. Only to see adds in the weather forecast screen. That is lying about the product and being cheap.

I'm not allowed to post my negative review because Google finds it to negative. I uninstalled the app because it was not respecting your pricacy in a terrible way, hundreds of vendors and almost every day 'Accept our Cookies' popup, with no more Deny All button. I'm now using 'Radar' in the Foreca app instead, after I read all the reviews of this Buienalarm app and realised Buienalarm forcing cookies upon you is only getting worse, definitely not better.

Weather prediction is difficult but if that's the only purpose of app and it doesn't do that correctly what's the point.

Used to work great. Since a couple of months the forecasts are quite off, even for the current day. Rain notification don't appear, appear too late, or even after the showers. Can still be used to track showers but you kind of have to draw your own conclusions based on that. Cookies/privacy can only be disabled manually one by one or all accepted by one click as far as I could find.

So now this weather app doesn't display the weather, only ads -- and it sticks a link to the ads page right in the middle of your screen, which says it's a link to the weather page. The app is just a money-grab. It takes no maintenance (except to add more and more ads), because all it does is display data that it downloads for free from the people who actually do the work. Its demand for an annual subscription is the biggest rip-off, as the developer does precisely zero hours work each year.
