I have experience with Apps like Shovler. This app is great. I've done three jobs in two days, live in (Minnesota). All three paid $47 each with a $10 tip from one customer. Shovler uses a company called Stripe to pay you. Stripe takes a small percentage of your cut I'm not sure about how soon you get paid. I think its every couple of days. Love the app, very intuitive. If you want a few extra $$. Sign up. I've not had any issues. And their customer service ( email ) is great.

First time user. Everything went smoothly. It would be nice to be able to track the shoveler arrival. Used the app again today following snowfall. Again, smooth transaction with app and pleased with the job. Same comment as above regarding tracking. Used again after snowfall and was very pleased with procedure and results. Still have same comment about tracking.

Used to be a great service, but now completely unreliable. Posted a request 3 times. 2 no shows (waited on the 1st one for 5 hours) and one cancelation. It seems all 3 were new shoveler registrations, but that doesn't change the fact that my job was never taken care of after multiple requests. I have a bad back, but ended up having to shovel myself in spite of that.

I'm not sure how long a response for service should take, but I waited about an hour with just one reply/cancellation. This ended up being a good thing since the snow melted and saved me money. However, not sure how reliable the service would be on a day I really needed it. I canceled after realizing no one was coming and decided to remove my credit card information from the app and found that I could not. When I contacted Shovler they told me that Stripe controls their payment processing and I would also have to go through them to delete my account. I'm still waiting to hear from Stripe.

The app can be buggy at times and should provide in app support integrated, as a matter of functionality. Thar said though shovler is a great way to make money and the positives do considerably outweigh any negative experiences. And the tips have been great as well. A PayPal payment option would be nice though.

I use this app all the time. But it is frustrating as hell for one specific reason... "shovlers" (contractors who work via the app) will accept your job and then have the power to just Cancel it. This happens to me all the time... usually at least once per job I post. It's getting ridiculous. I have to constantly monitor the thing and keep posting my job 2 or 3 times per snow. I have a clear description and always offer extra $. There should be a penalty for shovlers cancelling. 5->2 stars

Used to make amazing money on the side with easy user experience. But now? Priority 20$ a year just for a *chance* to get a job is insanity to me. You just may recoup it with one job but if you are not tech savvy and fast you WILL MISS JOBS to other faster people. Just because you pay the 20 does not mean first dibs. It reminds me of the new doordash "high rating" priority. The new app design is nice, but overall very unhappy with this change as a shoveler. The cut they take should be enough.

I downloaded this app to have snow shoveled. I opened it, and it walked me through creating a job with all of my details. Then when it finally came to posting the job, it asked me to log in. The login screen is completely unresponsive. I tapped sign up with email multiple times waited for minutes and the app just hung on that screen. I tried hitting back, but the app just hangs there on the login screen. I killed the app, then reopened it and used the menu to go right to login, and the same.
