Just downloaded 2024 new update. It's like temu tiktok, hopefully it will be tweaked as time goes on. Can see that face forward, dirty nail gouging/annoying box tapping videos will be priority for future campaigns.

I like the concept of beauty buddy and a couple of the products I have received but the app hardly works. It's slow, logs you out, and you have to exit and enter the app about 5 times before you can get it to work properly. This really needs to be sorted out as it's quite unusable at the moment. It has always been slow but this is on another level. Would like to see more tester products too.

Had this app for a very long time. Used to be really good, would get the (very) odd sample to test but I haven't received anything in well over a year, possibly 2 years at this point. The app is extremely slow and just bad quality in general. Finally I had the chance to do a survey but by the time the app started working again the quota was reached. They definitely pick people with "review-style" instagram accounts to test things because that's where they get exposure. Wouldn't recommend.

Was quite disappointed recently to not receive the product for a campaign that I was selected for (Sharleen Collins Course). Otherwise I did enjoy using the app! Video streaming is great quality. Android app can be a bit slow to respond so be patient with clicking. Wish the catalog was more extensive, I've so many beauty products I want to review that aren't available on the app. I'll keep adding reviews to help others though.

As nice as the concept is, the new site needs to be updated to work without a glitch or being really slow. Also, its frustrating when only a couple of urrms from a brand or a range are available to review. Please add the whole range of coloyrs, scents etc. In terms of sampling, I've been with beauty buddy from the start, but I've never received a welcome gift and only received two sample. It's not very transparent how the sampling criteria work. However the Beauty Buddy team are awesome!

I've just had a full size sample of some gradual fake tan and a mitt which is great. I've had the app for a while and it's the first sample set I've had so it's been quite a wait for it.. But it's a handy app which can be helpful if you're looking for a new product to use as the reviews all seem honest. There were a few bugs with the app but it seems to have been sorted now too.

Absolutely rubbish! The app is glitchy af, always crashing or logging you out. Product testing campaigns are always given to a certain few people so the rest of us never get a look in! Wating 7 weeks (and counting) for an account check by a member of their team is unacceptable. Literally the entire thing can get in the bin!

Getting better all the time... This is an app that will keep on growing and improving as more people register and use it. More brands and products are being added all the time. This will eventually become my go to for product reviews. At the moment it's a bit hit and miss with the products and also the time it takes to load a page, so this app is not something I use when I'm out shopping. I do use this at home, I love the community feel with skincare and makeup enthusiasts.
