The app on testing indicates my connection status is good speed just off 1gig but I have to each day reset my router to achieve this otherwise the speed is 30 to 50 on average on testing just sitting next to the router. I am paying for the 1Gig service so what is the point. This should not be the case, never had these issues with my previous broadband connection from Virgin Media, ok they were a little more expensive but the service was consistent. BT Tec support still cannot resolve.

App looks good but solves little I know my WiFi speed is low but app tells me it's as expected. Getting worse. Dropped to 0.35mbpm. Now for some reason the my bt app on phone has reset itself and it's acting like I am a new bt customer even showing an old account 4 years old along with current one. Wifi just now is useless speeds all over the place buffering cutting out. Telling me not fast enough to stream. Then telling me I can stream at a faster level. Couldn't even run prime video last night

App repeatedly says my router speed is very fast, when my experience (and every other speed test) show it to be crawling. Repeated problems with logging in to app. Randomly sends you to the BT website where you have to go through the tedious login again, only for it to try and sell you an upgrade. Very frustrating. And to the response: Hi Peter, if you make a note for your colleagues to fix the app so that it works as intended that would be a big start.

I've given it 2 stars because once you're in it is very helpful. I can put time limits on certain devices (such as Playstation and phones!) and pause when needed. But the most infuriating thing about this app is the 'getting in' every time I go to use it I need to fully log in with user name and password then my pin which takes an absolute age, even if I've just been using it half an hour before. Please sort out a quicker way to enter, ie just the pin if I've already logged in that day?!

Edit: 6 months on, no improvement. Unfortunately this is not a very reliable and stable app. It asks for my PIN and then asks for my username and password before asking for my PIN again. There's also no option to view password to check it's been typed correctly. The speed test is also erratic - sometimes it just hangs - and the broadband help diagnostics can't always be accessed even during normal working hours. I frequently get the report 'Sorry, we ran into trouble checking your service'

Dreadful app. I only ever need to use a couple of functions - Parental Controls and Devices - but it takes multiple clicks (some of which are the SAME link) and ridiculous delays between each click, to get to where I want to be. Very poor UX & usability - really doesn't seem like this has been tested with real users. UPDATE - response to BT dev's response - yes, I deleted and reinstalled. No change - biometric login selection constantly reversed and overall experience is incredibly frustrating.

Worst application ever. Worst broadband service ever. They guaranteed me 60 MB and majority of times during evenings to midnights, the speed is so slow that I can not even open this application. The speed test options never completed a single speed test. The Google speed test shows 1 to 3 mb. It is very expensive with poor service. In this digital era, they don't offer you an option to contact via email or chat. During the daytime it works okay so you call them and the system shows all okay.

Terrible app... it constantly logs you out and I can only check my terrible broadband speed once. It also frequently gets halfway through a speed test (when our allegedly non buffering broadband is doing nothing but buffering,) and then just gives up. The app tells me to try again in 15 minutes and then logs me out.. Terrible design and coding..
