We used Navily for 6 months last summer, sailing from Atlantic France to the southern tip of Italy. This was the most valuable planning tool on our boat. Navily outpaced our pilot books in every category. We were able to quickly see which marinas had the facilities we needed, found incredible anchorages that were not described in the books, had calm nights thanks to the comfort scores, and had up-to-date, insider info thanks to the many user reviews. The premium features are worth every penny.

Great app for sailing. Highly recommended if you need an information about marinas and anchorages. Unfortunately there are too many advertisement even with paid subscription. That is why 4 stars only. Update: indeed, it's possible to hide ads in the app. 5 starts now :)

Best app ever for anchoring , port services, and general knowledge on many locations. Photos are really helpful as well as users experiences. Highly recommended!

This is fast becoming the most useful boating app on my phone. The recommended anchorages (bottom type and photos), nearby marinas (and their services) and weather (wave height, wind direction and future forecast) in these locations and ability to plan my nav route, with times and way points has become essential in my navigational planning. In addition, the ability to add anchorages and chat to other users in the area is great. I looking forward to the addition of further functionality.

I bought the premium only because of the offshore feature. Unfortunately: - there is no way (or I didn't find it) to select to store the offshore maps and information on the SD card, so it goes on the main memory taking rapidly to much space. - the map selection interface is poor, with no resize and depends deeply of the orientation of the screen.

Really great app, I've been using it almost 5 years and highly recommend it if you are a sailor. The team that runs it is also fantastic and very responsive and supportive of the community. I would give 5 stars, but I feel it is missing a couple of things. 1) Winter marinas, it should have the option to filter marinas based on liveaboard/overwintering status as well as the comments for marinas by those who have overwintered/have annual berths. 2) Top contributors get free premium.

Why not get rid of ads automatically after someone purchases premium? Shame you've ruined the first impression of the app, it would otherwise be great, cheap tactics 👎 Edit after your response - Just because you made your customers aware before purchasing doesn't mean it's not a cheap tactic. It's the first time I've seen an app not automatically get rid of ads after purchasing premium, what a shame for you, who otherwise have a great reputation, to be the first I've come across.
