One of my favorite nonogram apps. I would give it five stars, except for the hints. I get one about every 24 hours and when I try to watch an ad to get a free one, it never works. The ad won't play. When you are filling in grids with 900 boxes, the chances of getting one box wrong and setting off a chain reaction of errors is inevitable. I hate that I get one hint a day. That is a long time to wait. I usually am better off scrapping the entire puzzle and starting over which is tedious.

I love nonograms, I play them for hours a week, I've bought books in the past and have purchased both this and galaxy one. This game and galaxy one are almost perfect but have one major flaw, a lack of a zoom option. I can't play any puzzles larger than 20x20 because I can't see and accurately click them. I only get to experience a third of the game because of this and I can't be the only one.

I enjoy this game quite a bit but why does it refuse to stay open unless I'm actively on it, it's one thing for it to close out when I'm messing around with a bunch of other apps open (although I have a pixel 8 pro so I doubt ram is the issue) but I can't even so much as turn off my phone screen and pop it in my pocket for 2 minutes with out the game closing and when I turn my screen back on I have to reopen the app and I've inevitably lost whatever my most recent progress was.

Love the use of the D pad to play. The only version of nonogram that I have found that has it and makes playing on the phone much easier. The achievements aren't working so you keep getting notifications for them over and over. Hopefully they fix this in the next update because it is very distracting.

Edit - Issue has been fixed! Another great nonogram game. The puzzles just keep coming. This one has nice themed bundles of levels. My only gripe is that I keep getting achievement pop ups for the same achievement. It's quite distracting. When I go to my achievements in game, it says I have 0 of them, so this is probably a bug with not awarding achievements properly. Edit: even with update, achievements are still not properly working. Popups constantly and no achievements are unlocked in game

*Update: they fixed the problem! I love this game so it gets five stars of course* Best nonogram puzzle app out there. Only gripe is the current issue with achievements, where I keep getting pops for the same achievements over and over but then it says zero achievements. It's starting to get pretty annoying. Hopefully the bug gets fixed soon, then I'll raise to 5 stars again

Disregard this review. That ability is given to you only a couple levels in. I liked the ability to use the red triangles and red slashes in the original Nonogram Galaxy. The original is the only app I've found that has such a nice level of control with the D-pad and also an ability to highlight/mark squares. Sad that it's missing from this one but this is still a good game.

Overall it is a good nonogram game. I was able to play many puzzles and enjoy it. I however started to grow tired as the puzzles became larger and more tedious. Because there is no zoom, I ended up using the cursor controls, which worked great. The big reason I he tired of this game is that the puzzles kept becoming tedious or felt like I couldn't eliminate or find more clues. I was constantly getting stuck on puzzles. Not what I expected when it says all puzzles can be solved by logic.
