I previously used the HBX ThermoLinx app with the older generation of thermostats. That app was terrible--very unstable, crashing frequently or needing forced restarts to function at all. For some thermostats, it took 10 tries to update a temperature before it successfully connected. I was essentially unable to control my HVAC remotely. So, I had my thermostats swapped out for the new THM-0600s and my zone controls for the wifi-enabled ZON-0600s, which use the SensorLinx app. The thermostats look identical to the older ones, but the app a big improvement. It has occasional issues, but for the most part it functions well enough for me to control things remotely in a reasonably reliable manner. I wish it had a global home/away setting, as it's annoying to control my 9 thermostats individually. Even better would be compatibility with Alexa or Google Home, but that's not really about the app.
