Loved this before the last update. I'm now unable open the app. I was never able to update my devices with the firmware upgrade either. Hope this is a temporary glitch. Will rate 5 stars if I can get it working again. Update November 18, 2019: Initially able to view devices. When they disappeared again, a phone restart got them back. No luck updating the firmware on my tracker. I click the update button and nothing happens.

Update: There app can't update firmware on their their own device per their support, so this results in the device not working with app at all. There fix was to tell me to try an Apple phone. Ridiculous that you have to set up an account to use it. Their products are garbage that won't connect. There are better products out there. Look elsewhere.

Overall rather happy with the app. However, I live in Delhi with multiple trackers withing 10km distance from my home. Unfortunately the outside api value selected automatically by the app comes from the nearest one which is malfunctioning and not updating its value for some days now. It would be much more useful if the app would allow the user to select the outside tracker station to use as reference. This would also help with the calibration process.

This app hasn't worked for me since the initial Kickstarter release. I keep trying to use the app to pair my devices every year or so and it's never once worked. Now it keeps asking for permission to use location services to pair when the app has permissions for that already, and it refuses to go past the wifi network selection stage. If you want to use the devices stand-alone they work great, but if you want to use the app don't waste literal years trying to pair your devices.

Crashes often on startup. Doesn't stay connected to Wynd sensor unit reliably, so graphs have missing data.Stupid GUI that doesn't immediately connect to paired Wynd sensot, instead making you scroll down to skip pairing. Won't start without an Internet connection, thus preventing you from reading the Wynd sensor AQI even though it uses Bluetooth. Crashes when switching between weekly and monthly graphs in Insights. Weekly gaph time scales are messed up. SO much worse than excellent iPhone app.

I was very critical at first. The app did not work correctly, and was not user friendly. However Wynd is a starting company with some great products and ideas and they are learning fast. Over the latest period they kept contacting me regularly, answering all my questions and even actually implement some most of my requirements and bug reports (and still do). Because of this I give a 5 start rating. The app needs some work but overall the products are great and the app will be there as it should be. Just be more patient. For everyone with connectivity issues ( I had a lot over the past 6 months, and yes I have all the products (Halo, Home purifier, Wynd Plus)) Simply remove the app and install it again. Make sure all data is removed. It works fine afterwards, they fixed it properly.

This app is very unreliable when it comes to showing the battery life of my Wynd air purifier. I previously had an issue with the app stating I had 77% battery life on my device, but it kept shutting off after a few seconds. I thought my device was broken shortly after receiving it so I contacted Wynd. I found out the battery had 0%. I charged it and worked fine. 6 months later, 66% battery life and it's actually 0%. I cleared cache, force closed, rebooted phone and still said 66%. Unreliable!!!

Updating my review to 4 stars because the developers have been very responsive to fixing reported problems. At this point, the app is solid but somewhat light on features. Would like to see the ability to tweak the automatic Halo/Purifier functionality. As-is, my purifier runs on medium almost all the time because we have a .2 VOC baseline on most days. Since the purifier doesn't actively reduce VOC levels, this just generates higher noise levels and wastes energy. Would like to be able to configure what Wynd components will trigger the automatic activation. That way, I could have it automatically turn on for particulate matter (e.g. smoke) while cooking but not have it running on medium all of the time. Would also love to see more variable speeds. So instead of Low/Medium/High, the speed could gradually ramp up as the Wynd Score goes down or the PM density goes up. Would also like to see a filterable UI and some sort of open API so that those of us with home automation systems (I use Home Assistant) could integrate with other components like wirelessly-controlled exhaust fans.
