Pretty good overall. The latest update just addressed my biggest issue, which was adding videos to albums, but now I have a new issue. The app asks for your password quite often, but it doesn't work with my password manager, and one of the recent updates blocked the ability to paste in the password from the clipboard, so basically, I can't manage my Amber X from my phone now.

Amber x is an amazing device but the app does take some considerable amount of time to get used to it. The app has definitely gotten better over time from what it used to be. I do wish the UI was as user friendly and neat as the LIFE app. Some things missing: -Private folders -music folder or something more easier to access Other than that transcoding for videos is pretty slow but it's a pretty good app overall. Look forward to the updates

This thing is too restricted. I can't change the file view. I can't see tumbnails of pictures and videos. You can't control video playback or open files in another application. Everything is in list and it's too small. Too much scrolling. It's so slow...😤

The app needs an option to download the files to your device not force you to share using another app. It also needs an option to quickly select multiple files or tasks to be downloaded or deleted. I wouldn't trust this company with sensitive files.

No ability to lock the app (biometric or pin) even though the device itself can be encrypted. And the ability to change video playback quality has been removed for some reason. Otherwise, very good.

Completely loses the folder organisation from my Samsung S7's photos, ignores files / documents and won't allow me to download the Amber iX app to my Samsung S5. I tried using Amber Life, which was available, but it won't recognise my login details. I'm hoping the app will improve over time...

My Camera Roll photos no longer appear on my Amber IX. Hence the backup doesn't work anymore. The photos screen says No Photos or Videos. But I have a gazillion of new photos in my Camera folder. Not sure what is wrong.

I rated this one star because it does not work as advertised. Amber Pro docs describe a way to share a link to an album. I bought the device based on that. However, the app does not provide the "create public share link" option shown in the docs.
