intriguing, but vast elusive gains without extensive payments. when key items are gained instantly by money, makes this game pay to lead and free to follow suit without the possibility of being a leader or competitor without spending. aestheticly pleasing, good to waste time but you have to spend more money as punishment if your quests are lower than your cultivation level wich is a shame like punishment intended for pay to play but ended up hitting that wall as a free to play player.

I recently reported a player for pretty blatant hate speech in the server chat. The person is still active both on the server and in the chat. I guess that's how serious they take the issue. I want to like this game. It's got a good art style and can be fun. But the servers are so competitive that they seem to peak and burn out as soon as you can get to the high level stuff. There's no appeal in spending money on that.

Money hungry and buggy... I have reported the same bug 3 times. Customer support will not restore the missed progress even when provided with screenshots and the bug persists through multiple updates. As for money hungry. This game doesn't allow for the free 2 play player to have any sort of parity with the rest and the price per value is low. If you spend money on this game you'll end up spending 100s of USD.

Every Event is locked behind a PayWall. Anything new is locked behind a pay wall. Devs claim "New Event Updates" but its all lock behind paywalls. If your not spending $200+ every new boring event, your fodder for those that do. Also everything here is not "New", it's all dumbed-down repeats of the actual, better SEA version. The actual SEA Version has better graphics, better visuals, better events/updates and the cash shop is cheaper. Be ready to fork over 3x the money SEA version offers.

Has illegal digital media purchases only. Has trunk branching so you have to do more small useless activities the more you play. The cash grab is real. There are items you can only get with cash which is illegal. This is a reskinned 4x game with battle pass. They want more than $100 a year for battle pass. Was almost a good game but alas, greed ruins everything. If you want a good game I'd recommend buying a ps5. Or play pc. These mobile game companies are garbage tier greedy.

Having error issues going from wholeness to perfection stage. I'm in the tribulation part. And won't let me continue. Gives me an error that's too quick to screenshot. Already restarted and re-download the updates.

This is pay to play. Which is understandable. The problem is that most of the servers are dead or dying. In order to transfer servers you need to get the approval of the most powerful PLAYER on the other server. Also, the censorship is insane. It's made by China and they censor the stangest words. I have played this for several months, but the game is dying and they make it so difficult to transfer to populated servers!!!

My review is subject to change. I am just describing my very first impression. I was playing another Wuxia game and there was a video ad for Overmortal showing a choose your own adventure where you can do silly things like poison your master. But when I started up the game, it was nothing like that. That's false advertising. Game seems laggy, unintuitive, & boring, and you can't even read game tips without being forced to open up a separate browser. And I don't like the Maintenance news popups.
