App crashes once speakers connect. On pixel 7. Tried again 8 months later, still unusable. Can't even launch it without it crashing. Seriously, just take it down and don't offer it if it's going to be trash for the majority of users.

Hello Hi.., iam felling very bad and sad because the Mackie Thump connect 2 app was crashing and not opening fully i connected to the blutooth also and given all permission pls solve the problem.

App is hopeless. Looks great in the pictures, but crashes repeatedly, on multiple different phones. Product support is just as bad. They never bothered to get back, despite being happy to take my $1000 in the first place. The hardware is pretty low grunt for price, but I wouldnt buy this again due to lack of support for the failing software component. Very underwhelming. Without the app functionality there is no way to access the equaliser. Hardly a minor issue. Since bought an Alto.

Connecting to a pair of Thump215XT's: The app connects to one speaker fine (once you realise that each speaker shows up as "LE_Thump XT" and "Thump XT" in bluetooth, and that "Thump XT" is the one to connect. Do that prior to running this App. So far this works fine. I tried streaming music from my phone, and it works nice. I then did the 'link' to the second speaker. It linked, and I could control the volume of both, BUT now the playback from both speaker stutters, breaks up & is unusable!!!

Technically works, but lacks many of the features you would expect. It's only real use is remotely controlling the volume. The EQ is too basic to be useful. For some reason it requires my location to be turned on to work. This app is the only way to check battery life (a pretty important feature) but the only battery indicator is a tiny icon with no real data I can't tell if my speakers are at 90% or 60% This is the biggest issue IMO and needs to be addressed. Other than that I'm loving the speakers.

To make Bluetooth 2 speakers work, have both speakers on, pair with Bluetooth with your device. Only 1 speaker will work. That's your master speaker. Turn the Bluetooth off on the other speaker. Now back to the master speaker press the link button for about 5 seconds, then press the link on the other speaker. This should link both together and you can save this option in the app. 4 stars because I don't work for mackie and had to figure this out myself

App works well to use, but only 2 stars as when it reconnects after the power has been removed from the speaker the default Snapshot is loaded which put all speaker levels to maximum. Not able to edit the default Snapshot or get it to default to another. Very bizarre design.
