I used to enjoy & promote the KRIS 6 News app, but it is no longer what it once was. The app is no longer a good source for news unless news happens Monday through Friday between 7am & 8pm. Even the Weather department is not what it once was. The News & Weather are NEVER updated with new reports on the weekends. I will uninstall it after using it for years. Being owned by a large national News corporation definitely has its disadvantages.

Since KRIS 6 news has become the Hoffman show and they evidently refuse to work holidays I am uninstalling KRIS 6 and installing KIII 3 they never missed a newscast and to me that means the Coastal Bend is what's important to them.

They put some of the local news on the app, most of it is good but I call Kris 6 the mini CNN because as far as national news goes, they're pretty bias.

Where is the relay in pay for the frontliners like doctors nurses and medical staff. I believe that would be a good story to look in on because they're talking about keep paying Target and Walmart but what about the people that are actually out there helping other people

The live stream plays all the ads fine but rarely shows the news broadcast without messing up.

Great app read daily but really hate that they added all those click bait articles on all the stories this WAS the one place for news I didn't have to worry about seeing all that trash.
