MAJOR BUG IN THE APP/TRACKING DEVICE WHICH MAKES IT VIRTUALLY USEFLESS! Despite allowing every possible permission and regardless of whether or not my phone is on silent mode or not, the alarm only goes off if the bike is moved while I have the app physically open on my phone. If not I just get a notification telling me the bike has been moved. What use is it waking up in the morning to check my phone and see my bike has been stolen. Waste of money. Needs to be fixed, happy to be contacted.

The GPS location is not very accurate, only about 40-50m or so, which means that in an area with several houses you will not know in which house your bike is (the location of my bike is shown randomly in one of 10 houses around our house). Yes, instructions have been followed to the T (Tracker was installed by a professional), interaction with the powunity team did not help. If the bike is still on the move I presume that the device is rather useful (but takes ~1 min until alarm goes off).

Definitely not a perfect solution yet. For eg, map updates when the app reopens are glitchy. But the fact that an API is provided to gather information and integrate with other platforms makes it deserve the 5* EDIT: please open a communication channel with basilfx/aiobiketrax (github) to improve the python client which is currently based on reverse engineered API responses.

It's not perfect but always something to protect your bike if you don't want to void your warranty but PowUnity should release version for users who don't have warranty on their bikes any longer with audible alarm on the bike and ability to disable bike motor just like Bosch does with their product but it's only for Bosch motors 👎 Biketrax could cover the rest of the engines on the market 🫶👍

I have abandoned a different bike tracker and have purchased this. What a difference. So good to instal and register. Intuitive and friendly to use. Inspires confidence and seems very well thought out and designed. Very impressed.

I installed this app after my ebike was attempted to be stolen. When it DID get stolen a few weeks later, I was able to pinpoint the location to the police who were able to retrieve it within minutes. The thieves were left wondering how the police knew where the ebike was! I ALWAYS put the alarm on when I leave the bike locked. Besides I tap into the app from time to time to check the location. Subscription money well spent! I know others have repented not installing it AFTER losing their bike.

Works well generally, but the backup battery % has just disappeared from the app which was helpful when the bike battery was removed for storage. Now I don't know when the backup battery is getting low!

5 Star for customer interactions. Updated to include MPH how amazing is this company after considering request. My most feared issue now is that the alarm only goes off for less than 1 second which means I miss it if phone is in bag etc. Is there a way to increase duration... if not please please please can you do this as I always fear not being alerted. Thank you 👍🏾
