This app was ok. The concept is great. But it doesn't understand or register the word "the" when either of us say it in either variation and then when my kid says "um" it counts like 3 words he didn't say. The receptor needs work. After he read about 10 books the library jumped from the low level he was at to showing him books at the 400-600 lexicon they looked alot more fun then the ones at his level he got so excited then we opened and he wasn't ready now he won't do the app.

Love the concept but the app didn't work out for us. Sometimes my child would sound out a word wrong and the app would continue on to the next word, saying that she was right. She carried on pronouncing the word wrong which is what we're actually trying to get her out of the habit of doing. I had to constantly correct her which caused a lot of frustration for her and she ended up not wanting to read, again. So if not for that issue, I think the app would work amazingly!

I really like this app. However, the way it rates accuracy is very inaccurate. If my daughter doesn't know a word, she can touch the word, and the app will tell her the correct word. She then repeats the word, and the app counts that as knowing the word. So she could literally not know half the words in a story, but the app says she has 100% accuracy and moves her up a level. There is no way to stop the app from changing levels, so i have to go in every time and readjust her level.

The app is okay and easy to use. The kids liked it but my issue is after the free trial I paid for 1 month to continue to try it with the kids. They were not interested anymore so I cancelled. It says I can continue to use until the end month but when I log on it says I have to pay for monthly or year long subscription. It's only the the 6th and the renewal date is the 28th. 20 bucks down the drain if I can't use it

My child enjoys it, so that's a good thing. It does miss some words, so if it's read wrong, the AI thinks it's correct. Also, it corrects the child maybe a bit too quickly. It would be nice if it would give a bit more time for sounding things out before it tells them the word.

Everything was great until I paid for the year subscription ($140). I have been unable to use the app. It keeps asking me to pay but then tells me I have already paid, and I already own this item. I have been stuck on this screen for weeks unfortunately.

This app is great! It's user friends for kids and parents. The kids can use it independently by reading out loud. The program guides them and helps when they miss words. It's has sight words and comprehension too! The reading levels are appropriate. Lots of books to choose from. Easy to track! Highly recommended!

I would not recommend this app to others, as the AI technology struggles to pick-up pronunciation and suggests that the child has not read words correctly even when they have. I have a 7 year old and an 11 year old, each of whom were left frustrated, upset, and defeated afterwards. You want to invest in a reading app that pumps your children up, and as a primary school teacher myself, I was beyond disappointed. The 1 star reviews are accurate, and refunds are not issued, so buyer beware.
