Updates are terrible. Every time this app is updated it ends up worse than before, after the last update every time you have read a story and want to read another the page returns to the first story, meaning you have to scroll through the stories from the beginning to read another article. Please can you get this sorted as soon as possible.

Much improved stability from a few years ago, thats good effort for usability. However go into an article and on exit it wheels you back to the start, top of app, then you have to wheel back where you were each time. Unnecessary time wasting. If you remember you can tap on exit each time to stop it wheeling back but that's daft. It should keep you where you are automatically.

Infuriating to use, have to go elsewhere for Scottish news. Have updated app on request every time, I even changed my phone yet In over 2 years this app hasn't worked properly once. If it doesn't crash, you can tap on an article 6 times before it takes you to the article you wanted to read. Not even shutting down your phone and restarting stops an article you didn't request to read popping up time and time again. After years of this, and all I know suffering the same service? Absolute garbage.

When it works, it's an excellent site. I've raised deficiencies with the developer. For a day or two thereafter, I thought I detected an improvement. Sadly, this gain has not been sustained. Of the very many aps I regularly use, the Daily Record has the unique distinction of being the ONLY one that fails. It cuts out every time and returns me to my Android home menu. I sometimes wonder why I bother. I'm sorry for the journalists who put so much into each and every article.

Don't like how it scrolls to the top, headline story every time you press the back button after reading an article. Very annoying.

Love the news, but do not notify me every time someone farts. Cool the notifications, please. The ease of moving to different news items is great. Love it now.

App with local news. Was good for updates on COVID-19 during the last few months. Gives a variety of articles. Be careful if clicking on adverts as links to some websites can result in scams where purchase of an item results in something which does not work very well but you end up with a monthly subscription as well which is not even mentioned (Google ads probably at fault not the newspaper). The amount of phone memory used is low.

Poor, when reading through my selected news feeds. Showing stories from a yr ago and rubbish stories from other categories that shouldn't be there. Agony aunt stuff for eg and ideally you want us to pay for this rubbish? Needs overhauling but get a different company to develop it not the same mob who do glasgow live etc
