Application sucks. Tried to create account - wouldn't allow the highlighted link to activate at all. I had to go to the actual website to register. Tried to make a payment using the app. Went through all details by putting in the billing information. Got to the end to finalize payment - selected the pay option for it to grey out and stop working. Garbage app if it is not functioning as intended.

New update is not it - I used to use the app to monitor usage for my home easily, but this new update doesn't have estimated usage front and center as it should be and has it running more than a few days behind so I can't accurately measure how much I'm using anymore. Much rather prefer the older version.

It doesn't let me see anything on my account, after updating it stopped working completely, even after reinstalling this now useless app can't do anything, do something to fix it.

Terrible UX A recent update between 2/25 and 3/7/25 broke the password field in the app. Characters such as ={}<> now get eaten when you type them in or if you paste your password in from a password manager. It took several tries to figure this out which resulted in me having to call and wait on hold 30 minutes to unlock my account.

The app would not update so, did some research and found that Samsung phones for better optimization will put the app in deep sleep mode. This is why the app will not update due to lack of daily use or it idles for more than 30 days.

I had the app and it functioned as intended until it tried to do an update which wouldn't install. I went through all the troubleshooting steps until I finally uninstalled the app so I could reinstall it. It shows to be downloading, but when it comes time to install it, it immediately aborts the installation and goes back to the download button. here's where it got fun. The representative couldn't figure it out and told me just wait and try to figure it out later on my own. Really?

I've been with TXU for many years... was using the app with no issues. Recently switched things over to a commercial rate for a small business. The app no longer works... even though I've been told several times it will and go ahead and re-download it and enter my new information. It doesn't work. I get everything from TXU old fashioned way... mailed directly to me! That way, I can keep tabs on the account. What I'm being charged and when the account is set to end.
