Update : the 3D maps are killer! ***** The WeSki app has what I need without the bells and whistles. It maps and counts my days and runs, elevation and speed. I like that I can add notes about my day. Use it anywhere, not just at ski areas. I mapped a snowmobile tour. It's not perfect but it's free. In other words, it's perfect. The dev is super responsive and is actively developing the app. Get it while its free. Have fun out there!

App works pretty great. it doesn't give you run statistics until the session is ended rather than paused. Not criticism, just a heads up. however on Galaxy S21 Ultra I found some runs get missed. A message will come up and says that the session was interrupted and to verify battery settings don't stop the app from running in the background. first I did so in my app settings. Happened again so I turned off all battery savings all together. still happens from time to time. Only used 10% Bat

Great app, I used Trace Snow (RIP) for a long time, and since then tried Ski Tracks, Snoww (constant crashes), Strava and Sportler. This is the one that has everything I've been looking to replace - run count, distance, vertical, and I can go back and look at each run. Plus the ability to find friends on the mountain without constantly texting back and forth is great.

Generally good when it has a gps signal. When signal is lost the app no longer records. I'd like to see it recover and continue recording. I've lost a lot of vertical tracking after being in the lodge. I'd also like to be able to upload a gpx file if I've used another device like my Garmin watch to record. Even so, when it works it's great, results presented with run names, locating friends, being able to see friends tracks. A few tweaks and this will be the perfect app for tracking.

Best ski/board app I've used! My favorite feature is the ability to see where your friends are on the mountain. No more constant texts notifying others where we are to meet up! And I love that it tells you exactly what lifts you took and your max speed. Best of all, it doesn't drain my battery. I even excluded this app from my phone's battery optimization just to make sure it stayed on and tracking... Not sure if that's necessary, but it still barely used any battery.

Download it primarily to track vertical feet skied, which it does a really good job. UI is clean & easy to use. Other data tracked like runs, speed, individual runs are really nice. Features that it doesn't have and would like to see include: Capability to save & store sessions in categories, similar to saving photos in albums. Capability to save or move sessions to an SD card. Capability to download sessions as a pdf file (data & diagrams) or spreadsheet (data only)

Hands down awesome app. Continues to work flawlessly, Leaderboard excellent, Finding a friend works well and so do lift wait times provided others are using the app. Now allows GPX export and works great! Stable app. Accurate compared to Ski Tracks. 3/21/21: We ski now has a leaderboard... Awesome! 2/25/21 update: bumping to 5 stars. Performance is excellent, gentle on battery, counts runs, speeds well. Even provides lift name and time spent on each lift in run stats.

Shuts off after 3 runs. Yells me I need to fix my battery settings, because it isn't run in the background. MY phone stays at 100% on a charging l case. I'm real sick of this ap not working. Fix it or I'm done with it. Not. Happy. My 50th day skied and not 1 day all damn season has it stayed on all day. And I shouldn't have to stop and check it every 3 runs. I don't take my phone out while I'm skiing.
