This app is convenient, but not always. While it does show the word meaning in notification, several times it just cuts off mid-sentence or shows a part of the sentence from which you can't understand the meaning. I use another dictionary app that provides the same meaning (both the apps get the meanings from Wiktionary) so I know it's not showing the full sentence. Also, it gets complicated when a word has multiple meanings and I have to search further to know the exact meaning I'm looking for.

I see a great potential for this app, a hidden gem I found on f-droid. I suggest that their should be an option that aside from notification, the word meaning can be a pop-up (chathead like) , because pulling notification down can sometimes be a hassle not everytime but on some cases. Example, when reading, the whole notification menu will block what I am reading.

Found this on YouTube: HowToMen, Oct. 1st 2023. This is an amazing app! So much better, cleaner, and convenient than the standard Google search. Creates a simple notification rather than opening another page and displaying the definition there. Easy to use and works seamlessly when looking up a word's meaning while scrolling through an article in Chrome. Fantastic job dev! This app does exactly what it was meant to, simple and clean! Thumbs WAY up! Thank you!!!

This is a very resourceful application. It's super easy to use and eases the inconvenience of leaving a particular screen to another application just figure out the meaning of certain words. Also, just so the developer knows, I tried searching for the meaning of words in Google keep Notes and it isn't working. Please, can you fix it? Thank you.

Best app I've downloaded and actually used in a while, the app is fully functional and does what it has promised effortlessly. This seemingly simple app proves to be reliable and accurate, comes surprisingly with adless user interface, open source and well equipped for offline usage all for free. Seeing a tamil name as the dev of such an app packed with efficiency makes me happy. Hope the dev brings additional features such as synonyms and daily vocabulary.

I thought the app will be helpful but I was a bit disappointed. Let me tell you why. I opened Google Chrome and searched random things, selected a word and then the side menu, tapped on the meaning option but there was no notification popping up. I guess that's the main functionality of the app and it failed there. I hope the dev sees this

I like this app, it makes searching for meanings of words less like a search and more like a quick check. In other words, it's really convenient. My only complaint is that the word database is a bit too small right now, but that will hopefully be fixed with updates. This app is a "must install" on any Android phone.

I get that the app is called Notification Dictionary, but it would be a lot better to have an option for it to display the definition as a popup window when you look up a word contextually from another app.
