I repeat the words exactly as it requires but it does not recognize my answer, I don't know if I need a different accent to be recognized by it. I'm african by the way.

Good app. Genuinely useful in learning Spanish. My only problem (I would like the devs to know about this to fix it) the accents don't seem to be consistent, from what I've seen. For example, in the conversation mode it's in a Spain accent (lisp on the s sound) but when you click on the word it says it in a Latin-American accent. There should be a setting to switch between Spain accent (th sound) and Latin-American accent (s sound). Please add this! Otherwise, great app and I will keep using

would be better if you could calibrate the mic to learn your voice. it clearly can not hear you well when you're doing the speaking exercise, no matter how slow, speaking, or enunciating. this has the potential to be fantastic, but it is quite frustrating when you can't get something correct because it doesn't hear you correctly. for example, the word "que", an easy work to speak, no matter what I do, it hears "Ya". uhg!!! please fix.

Woa, i love this app, this is what i need. An app with audios and videos from real people that i can hear and repeat the words as well as understand the meaning through context, also I can speak and get feedback on my new expressions. Don't learn any language bro, acquire it. Don't ever memorize words, use it on conversations. This is what we do on this app. Thanks to the people who work on this app.

I have tried a few programs to learn Spanish and this one is great. Learning a language is about speaking and listening and even with apps where you speak and listen, it's easy to to fall into a rote trap which also becomes boring. I would recommend this app to a friend. Is it is Spain spanish but it does accept a more Latin American Spanish pronunciation when it evaluates you input. I am focused on mexican Spanish, but I still find this very useful in my learning.

I like the 4 learning units within each conversation lesson. They're challenging but not too difficult for someone who wants to take basic skills to the next level. The app is easy to navigate and you can jump around to different conversations without going in any particular order. There's no timer so no pressure to finish before the clock runs out. There are ads in the app but they're not too frequent and not in the worst places like some apps! Overall very pleasant experience.

An awesome app for learning Spanish. I've got the Russian version of this app too and they're both really good. You can practice speaking and listening a lot and you can practice with videos which many other apps won't provide. And it's free if you don't mind some occasional ads. You can practice writing too but I'd wish you'd be able to use your own keyboard and write the words yourself instead of just choosing from word/letter blocks.
