A Google user
When using domain name, the app uses the IPv6 address. It would be nice to be able to select either IPv4 or IPv6. It is also very annoying that I always have to switch from UDP to TCP for EVERY entry. When switching from UDP to TCP for one entry, the app jumps down to the latest entry. So if I want to change multiple entries, I always have to scroll back up. Bute besides these issues, the app works fine.

I did a basic setup before traveling for work, tested it before leaving (and it worked). The setup was clean and straightforward. I haven't set up anything fancy, ... yet, just a non-linear sequence of knocks. It seemed to not work from my hotel room but experimentation showed that the hotel WiFi connection was blocking the knocking or the subsequent SSH connection. It worked fine from the office and also when I used it over Verizon 5G at the hotel.

it doesn't seem to work, at least on android 14:((( the packets don't reach the destination (I checked it with tcpdump)....(on the same mobile by installing another port knocker, which is not available anymore on store, it works...)

Very useful. Thanks for writing this. EDIT: Alex, would you explain why the app now needs to run at startup? EDIT: The Version 2.0.6 manifest specifies run at startup (check Play Store permissions).

THE king of port knockers on android. Look no further. All the others are just toys with zero flexibility and don't come even close. Now even more powerful with ICMP and TCP mixing.
Mobile
Using Samsung Dex on Galaxy Fold Z4 Android 14 I could not access the port fields and had to create/import a json config (might be an edge case). Otherwise, great app that works as advertised.

The closed port do no work with the app. The same configuration work on a windows client. Why ?
